Eggs are high in cholesterol, but dietary cholesterol =/= blood cholesterol. You actually need some cholesterol in your diet. The jury seems to be out on whether eggs are good for blood cholesterol since studies seem to all contredict one another.. if it is bad, then it's from the fat in the yolk. If you have a family history of heart disease, blood pressure, and such or if you're just concerned about it, maybe cut back to one or two egg yolks a day.
