Cool Chicken Breast vs Leg Quarters?? is there a major difference in fat?

I have always liked dark meat better.. Breast meat is good , but when I grill it on my grill it ALWAYS is dry (I am a worry wart about cooking till Well Done)

I bought a family pack of leg quarters and grilled them Monday and been eating on them since.
Any ideas, suggestions or advice on this?

Eh, it's not that big of a difference. I'd take the skin off and cook them any way you want (except bread and fry of course), the difference really won't be that big. It's like this morning, I went to buy some round tip at the butcher and the next best thing was sirloin. Just a bit fattier, but just as tasty, if not more. No biggie.

Yeah, BIG difference. It also depends how fat the chicken is

Drums have about 6-10gms fat per 4 oz

Thighs have 12-17gms per 4 oz

Breasts have 0-4gms per 4 oz

The fat in chicken is very healthy and all natural, don't be afraid to eat the whole damn bird. Never discard the skin.

Well, if you get it prepared and ready to grill, boneless thighs have about 4g fat per 4 oz.

I eat them in conjunction with breast strips all the time and I love it... Still losing weight....
