That is why I quit the Electrical trade....To many days of 100 degree weather with no clouds here in Houston. I would be drenched by 8 am and only would have been working for an hour.

Exactly. I cant help but think you must always chuckle to yourself when you interview all the old bodybuilders on PBW and every single one of them say "Bodybuilders of today look terrible they are to big, they are freaks people think they look like freaks etc etc. When, in their day they were so much bigger then everyone else, and people thought they were too big and that they were freaks. And they always say bodybuilding should be natural...now that their day has gone by and they juiced to the gills, they turn on steroids and expect people now to not try and follow their dreams and get as big as they want to get. I have to give credit where credit is due Bob, for you to be able to sit there and listen to all the old timers bash modern day bodybuilders, when you yourself are one.

concern over adding running to cardio ...
Hey Bob (or anyone who wants to contribute)...getting ready for a guest pose in oct. and another pro show with npa in nov...trainer suggests for me to add running intervals to after workout cardio to shape the legs a bit..I'm not a runner and am concerned about keeping size..in previoius shows I have been able to cut nicely and at 10 percent I am still three and four mos. out....I usually replenish after workouts before cardio with half scoop waxy maize and whey protein.. would I be defeating the purpose of the running intervals...thanks for any help...Ironviolin

You take it all in stride, and realise where they're coming from....no different than your parents opinions on music, or guys from the 50's on cars, etc...
As for the BBers, the only reason they didn't take the drugs available today, is that they weren't available in their day.

I'm a little confused...you claim in previous shows, you've been able to cut up nicely.....so why the change of plan, or need for one?

It's a Pro-Hormone, which really should be illegal but because of diffrent humbo-jumbo's with the molecular structure, it's legal.

War of the Worlds routine
Hey, Bob. I've only just yesterday watched your WOTW vids. Thank you for putting yourself out there. I was wondering about your routine during the Pro Masters. When you were at your busiest, what was your daily schedule including meal times, 2 cardio sessions, and training sessions? I'm curious, especially, about your cardio timing. How far apart you scheduled trainings and meals. Thanks for you input!

What kind of exercises do you do for abs and which day (along with which muscle group) do you typically do them on? Thanks again Bob!

it actually is a steroid and not a prohormone...prohormones are like 1AD and DHEA...
but yes bob, it is a real steroid...it's similar to Methasterone (sp?) and it's a derived from anabol and it was never banned on Jan 20th 2005 steroid and pro hormone ban (I don't know why)
it produces gains like Dbol but without water retention...
I just wanted to know your opinions on these shell companies that sell this stuff on bb.com...

bump.
it is methyl-masteron.
it is a very active steroid right in the bottle.
Bob, huge respect for you, but you're unfortunately wrong here(trust me I'd prefer you to be right over this guy any day)

Muscle Growth
Hey Bob,
As a Natural Bodybuilder, is there a point where you will reach a maximum level of muscle growth based on a persons genetics. If you maintain a high level of training, nutrition and rest is there a point where you will eventually max out and the rest of the time you are just maintaining what you have built. This of course would be over a very long training interval. i.e. >10 years
Is what you have after that interval, bascially all you can expect as a Natty?
thx Bob

There is a ceiling for a BB, whether you're natural or not....the ceiling is just higher if your using AAS.
So, the answer to your question is YES.

Sounds Good, thx Bob.
Is it fair to assume the following;
I guess it's now up to the bodybuilder to find that ceiling and differentiate that from a plateau? What I mean is that you could bang your head against the wall thinking you have plateaued but really you may have reached that ceiling. Which maybe is not a 100% bad thing, as you still train and do something you love to do. You just may not see the gains you are expecting.

Bob, I have recently been asked to do a show in China(where I am living) I have never competed before and need some help. The show is next May so I have some time to put on some weight(which I need to). I am right now at 6'0--220lbs and need to put on some size. I will be using this fall and spring to get some size. My question is how much to eat, protein, carbs and fat. I dont have access to a lot of the stuff you guys have there. Not to mention that I have no stove, just a hot plate, so everything has to be boiled or fried. No BBQ either. I cant count calories cause nothing is labelled here and the portions are different sizes. I do take supps but I prefer whole foods. What would you eat in a typical day when bulking??
