Resting up! Usually by Wednesday of an off week I can't wait to get back in the gym. But this off week I really haven't missed the gym, which means I must have really needed the week off! LOL
My shoulder is feeling better but my knee still hurts.

Hey Beast. Just a quick question bro....
Do you guys have any info on how to set-up a 2x/wk per body part routine? I have been doing a split similar to what you were doing at the beginning of this thread, but I feel like a need to develop my base better before I begin to target muscles so much....
I want to give this a go on Monday so any help you guys can give on exercises/reps/sets would be greatly appreciated.

Derek-
Hope the knee heals quickly for you! I know the frustration...had to have physical therapy on mine last year (IT Band issue). Hope the rest is exactly what your body needed!

I had thought about trying Epson salt baths a little while ago, but never did. I think I will pick some up this week and give it a go

Some good news is my lower back really didn't give me any issues today, even with deadlifts! So things are starting to look up

That is great to hear.
A while back I got a little over zealous with some very heavy standing calf raises and compressed my lower spine some. It took a while to work it out, but all is well.
I just lifted very carefully and light until it was ok...
As much muscle as you've got it should heal well...
Also, one thing that helped me was taking Back Relief tabs from Doans....Or Excedrin makes some too.

I love it! 30 minutes after I take it is it time to sleep, very consistent with its effects.

Today I just did some light:
-Leg Extensions
-Leg Curls
-Machine Leg Press
-HS Calf Raise
-Seated Calf Raise
All VERY light. No knee pain, but I'm not pushing it at all.
Tomorrow is shoulders+traps
