What is your absolute favorite exercise for lats? Looking to get this body part hugely developed

Well are you looking for width or thickness? You want a vertical pulling movement or a pullup variation to his the teres to give some width as well.

I don't believe in any one supreme exercise to build up any particular bodypart. It takes teamwork in my opinion for complete muscle development.

For lat width I like

Weighted pullups, hammer chins and chins all with a medium grip.

Slightly wider that shoulder width pullups and hammer chins specificly for width.

Rows are good as well.

I agree with who said they didnt believe in any one exercise to develop a muscle in a certain way. You can work certain exercises that work a muscle at a particular angle, but you need overall muscle development to keep any part of the muscle to keep growing.

Similarly, I also don't believe in any one variation of intensity (heavy, moderate, drop sets, etc.

That said, the one movement I love for back is underhand lat pull-down. I feel I hit the lats pretty well, lower lats.

To widen your lats for that V shape go with wide grip chinups, lat pull downs and dumbbell pullovers
