first time bulking, questions?

Ok I started bulking about 5 weeks ago. I went from 154 to 161lbs so far. I am trying to figure out when to start cutting. I am 5'9" and 26 years old. I am wanting to be a lean probably 165-175 but without ever weighing that much its pretty hard to tell what that looks like. So at what weight should I start cutting in order to get to the 170lb range after cutting? 175lbs? Thanks in advance.

Also, I am wanting to get my arms and chest much larger. I have seen results but am not where I want to be obviously. Should I continue to bulk until I am least to the size I am wanting? Or do I need to bulk/cut in cycles multiple times to get where I want to be more than likely?

Honestly, no clue. I never did an actual test and don't trust those guess machines they have built into scales so I never bother using them.

Well I was a sustained 154-155lbs for at least 6 years already. I eat fairly healthy, no soda, very little chips or sweets. I just started having at least 3 protein shakes a day in addition to what I was eating plus eating breakfast and trying to eat more protein in general.

yeah we need to know what body type you have. if your normally more lean then you probably want to go ahead and eat everything in site. if your so so, you should be careful not to get too many calories. and it doesnt sound like your fat so i would say that at the rate your gaining weight, go ahead and get up to 180 and then worry about the cardio and dieting. but as far as your training...there are 2 types of muscle fibers, fast twitch and slow twitch. fast twitch takes up more of your muscle mass and is used for heavy, fast movement. so when bulking you want to focus on heavy weights. around 4-6 rep range. but even with your bulking you cant forget about the slow twitch which are used for lighter weight and slower reps. cause even though they are smaller, they are still muscle fibers that need attention. ide say 2 weeks heavy, 1 week light...rinse and repeat.

I've always been pretty skinny. At 18 I was 135lbs at 5'9". Over the years I put on weight all over, but have always been very active so I'm still thin.

I am looking to be about 170 I believe. After cutting. Like I said its tough to tell what my goal weight is having never been even as heavy as I am currently. But I am not looking to be some bulked up beast that everyone says "hes huge" or anything like that. Moreso a much larger chest and arms and very defined. More athletic look than body builder look if that makes sense.
