Deadlifts are darling!
I haven't done deadlifts before... ooooh I've been missing out. I can feel it all through my sides and waist. It really feels like a good all-over exercise.
They are now my favourites! Assisted chin machine has lost out!
Just have to be careful not to get obsessed and want them every day.

Deads are what I blame for giving me oblique lines. Killer for glutes, hams and your entire back, too!
Remember that not giving your body time to repair itself will be counter-productive...you don't want to lose the benefits you can feel that exercise will give you by overdoing it.

DLs are a staple back movement in my training, especially since I need thickness but I can't train for width.

Just started these, too.....yeah, lovin them, too! At first, I thought they would be hard on my lower back (had back surgury about 13 years ago - herniated disk). I think eventually as I increase the weight, I'll invest in a weight belt.

Deadlifts are mos def KING. Romanian aren't too bad for the hammies too!
Just have to be careful to avoid them immediately following leg day or before going out dancing.
Ha!
Actually, had who recognized me at a new job because I was the only one he knew in our college gym to do 'em. *CLANG!*
Good for you for trying them. Keep in mind, when u do grab a weightbelt, to use it on your last heaviest sets to allow for ur body/muscles to develop. People can actually get weaker and increase chances of injury.
g'luck!
