Anyone else have tendonitis?

Well a great thing to have at 19 years old if i say so myself. I have tendonitis in my elbows and ive been taking cissus and its seeming to help a lot but im still getting pain when i work mostly triceps because of the bending motion. Its limiting my exercise selection for sure. Anyone have any other suggestions besides the dr's suggestion of taking it easy for a while? hah

you know, i've had tendonitis since i was 19 as well, it sucks. it comes and goes. i've never taken anything (i prob should have ..loll)
but icing it and heating it helps, do it after your workout, or when you have spare time. as well, i found that a bit of icy-hot Rub a-535 works pretty well... other than that, just try to stay off working out for a bti if you can.
those are my thoughts/experiences.

Ive had tendonitis for many years.Ive been training hard for the past six months and it came back. I was furious and wanted to hed back to lifting asap.....and I kid you not, a Nike elbow brace I found at a sporting good store has done the trick.

I put it on before workouts and you can do pretty much anything aven pull ups, which I was afraid to since your hanging on with all your weight.

hmm you know that actually was a thought to get one of those arm braces for when i do tricep exercises because thats really only when it hurts, when i do like skull crushers and i cant even do french curls anymore

yea it's terrible. honestly, try mixing it up for a few weeks, maybe a month, doing lighter weights more reps, and get the sport brace and wear it for most of the exercises. otherwise you'll just make it worse, and it's so stupid, you can't finish most of your exercises.

I think the only way to truly correct it is surgery, which sucks. I think i just deal with the pain/annoyingness.

you know, i've read somewhere that strongmen and (or?) powerlifters do alot of tricep work with some kind of elastic band type thing you get for muscle rehabilitation. i've heard they do alot of high reps with just those elastic bands to help with their elbows. you might want to try that:

take an elastic band and do some tricep pull downs with it and see if it helps ease the tension.
