Are they fun? They got fangs ? LOL?

I used to have a ball python. They're awesome, very friendly snakes. They're called ball pythons cause they roll up in a ball when threatened... ie they're not aggressive at all, unless you're stupid and wave your hand in front of their face after handling raw chicken.
The only issue is that they live a long time, 20+ years sometimes. But it should be easy to sell if you need to get rid of it in 5 years, just don't sell it to some dick who is gonna starve it, tons of people mistreat snakes.
But anyway, get one, try it out. It's pretty easy- keep the cage the right temp, feed it once every 1-2 weeks, handle it at least once a week so it's friendly and becomes domesticated, and you're good to go. I'd feed it dead mice, buy em frozen, defrost them, and then dangle it with tongs till the snake grabs it. Live mice will **** a snake up if the snake isn't hungry. Stupid snake will just sit there and let them mouse chew on its tail (100% serious). Also be sure you handle it. If you just want a pretty fish tank with exotic **** inside, get something else. you really should handle the snake at least once or twice a week so it gets used to you and gets used to being handled.

every snake has fangs, and every snake bites. but ball pythons are usually always chill. i owend almost every snake there is to get a hold of. right now i have a 10 ft boa. ive had corn snakes they are a little more difficult to take care of just because in my experiences they get diseases easier than ball pythons. take good care of it and please know what your doing before you get any reptile, do alot of research.

Ball pythons are great if you get a captive bred one. Theres a lot that are imported and they usually dont do too well because of stress and usually carry a lot of parasites.

for your first snake go with a ball python, corn snakes are for homos. My 7ft colombian redtail boa just died of a lung infection, sucks.

I used to catch black rat snakes and garter snakes when I was a kid.... never kept them to long cuz their healthy for the environment clearing out rodents etc. Corn snakes have beautiful markings and don't get as big as a ball python if I remember correctly....

I haven't been into reptiles since I was a kid but if I'm not mistaken balls get a lot thicker (heavier girth) and prolly some what longer as well. Balls are small for a python species though (I didn't search and study)
