Question Help! How many Calories a day??

I am not sure how many calories a day is the right amount. You read such conflicting things.

I lift 4 days a week and cardio 4 days a week. I am in the gym working about an hour to and hour and 10 minutes each time. So I lead an active lifestyle.
I eat very lean.. chicken, turkey lots of vegi's. Very little fruit. I do my whey protein shakes as well.

I have been trying to keep it at around 1000 calories a day.

I need help. I don't want to eat take in too many calories but I don't want too few either...HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I already posted how many you should have on your last thread. 1000 is way too low. Go use the HBE method, use a calculator of course, then multiply your bmr by 1.725. there you go

If you're getting fat, eat less.

If you're not gaining, eat more.

Pretty simple.

1000 is way to low! your body needs at least 1200 to function properly. and once you factor in all your cardio, your daily body turnover rate is putting your calories used for nomral body functions (heartbeat, nervous system, protein synthesis, etc) way too low! eat more!!
