Caesin Protein?

Will it make that much difference than me just buying whey protein?

Different proteins are digested differently. If you got the $$, get a mix of whey/egg/soy/casein and you will have protein flowing through your body for like an hour after drinking it. The time it takes to digest each kind varies.

There used for 2 different reasons. Casein is a slow absorbed/digested protein so you would use it when you need to have protein over a longer period of time, whey is the fastest absorbed protein, so its ideal in the morning when you wake up and right after a workout. Casein you would take before bed to prevent muscle breaking down at night.

If you dont want to buy casein, Add some sort of healthy fat (like peanut butter) to your whey before bed and it should be slower digesting like casein (not as slow). Or you could get some cottage cheese to eat before bed.

Well i work from 11am to 8pm so would you suggest buying some whey and caesin. I could take the whey when i wake up and after my workout then maybe some of the caesin at my lunch around 4 pm?

Whey protein takes closer to 2 hours to fully digest and absorb whereas casein protein takes closer to between 6-7 hours.

Casein is ideal to take before you go to sleep. If I don't have time for breakfast I'll fix a whey protein shake. Otherwise, I only take whey protein immediately following my workouts. Other than that, I do my best to consume the majority of my protein from all the food I eat which I believe has provided the best results. Just my two cents.
