Currently using ON 100% gold standard (extreme milk chocolate) after workouts (2 scoops), and also been taking their nitro core 24 (cinnamon roll is delicious) in the morning, and before bed. Been thinking about trying a different post workout protein just because ive been using gold standard for so long... anyone know anything about NOW Whey Protein Isolate? Good price for it here on bb.com and it looks promising.

How do you like that flavor of Nitro Core 24? I just received the Caramel Toffee Fudge and I like it.

Ive never tried the Nitro Core 24 but i Like the gold standard and im on that Champion Nutrition Casien and whey blend right now and it works great. Just takes a bit more time to blend. Thinking about switching to VPX Zero Carb to try and help me cut the body fat. anybody tried this?

When i first tasted it, i thought it was okay... but after maybe 2 more shakes it it pretty much is the best flavor ive ever tasted. How's that Caramel Toffee Fudge? I know at GNC they have other flavors that are not available anywhere else (mainly traditional flavors) but ill probably stick with the cinnamon roll flavor for now unless i hear some good things about that caramel flavor.

I tried their Graham Cracker, it blends weird to me. It has an extra frothyness I don't care for. I like it, I usually combine it with a strawberry flavored protein or chocolate flavored protein. I think it's good stuff, just the forth and texture took some getting used to for me. I'd say give it a shot, you may love it!

I had a scoop of the NC24 with a scoop of ON 100% Vanilla after my workout today - tastes amazing. I need to get some more ON 100% Chocolate too.
I was reading over the label to the Nitro Core 24, if it does everything it says it does, that's going to be a tough protein to beat (in my opinion). I haven't tried Ultra Peptide (I hear a LOT of people rave about it) but I think ON and BSN put out some of the best quality protein (I love all the Syntha-6 flavors and I've tried some of the ON 100% Whey).
I'll probably order the Cinnamon Roll flavor in my next order, I love having a variety of protein brands and flavors to keep me interested and constantly mixing stuff up

I use AST's VP2 - been using it for a while - VitaminME in Aus has 2 908g tubs for $118.
I also use BSN's Syntha 6 for the Casein content, both are awesome products.

I tried a jug of AST's VP2 (chocolate) last year. A little bit chalky but decent.

I can't even beleive how fast my chest is growing on Nitrotech and I am not even using the full doseage and it has only been three weeks. I am not a newbie, I have been training hard and been using creatine and protein for a long time before, but honestly, wow. I look in the mirror every coupla days and can see visible growth. I feel like I've got my 18 yr old testosterone level back. good times.
hate away, but I like this stuff.

Hey, if it works for you that's all that matters.
My boss at the gym cut me off when I was telling him about this new diuretic I was trying when I mentioned MuscleTech. I figured it was worth giving it (Hydrazide) a shot, it's only $5.00!!! Regardless, I'm on day two and my water intake has almost tripled and I'm not holding any extra water so far. I haven't had much success with MuscleTech products (NaNo X9 being an exception) but I guess it all depends on the individual.
Good Luck!

What's The Difference
i've been reading lots on this forum, especially on the topic of supplement wars...what's the difference between 'best overal weight gainer' vs. 'best protein powder for gaining muscle'???
i started training when i was 19, didn't know much about weight training, followed the www.absdiet.com and lost 13 kg in 3 mths..but nothing is hidden under my body fat..ie. no muscles..started going back to gym last september and have been real discipline and never miss a session unless i'm sick as a dog.
The thing is my growth hasn't been phenomenal at all, measured myself after 6 mths, my biceps grew 1 inch each side, my chest, 1 inch, my waist dropped 2 inches..now that's after 6 mths!!!..it's very frustrating ..
until i found bb.com, i purchased a whole heap of other supplement, but most whey like muscle milk, cytogainer, ON 100%, aren't allowed to ship to australia.. anyway, i started reading lots on article like bulking..
so my question would be, what's best protein for me at this stage? ON 100% according to 'best protein powder to gain muscle' or Cyto Gainer according to 'Best Overal weight Gainer'?
thanks in advance
i don't think i'm a hard gainer..can someone share with me how they got over their frustration of not seeing any results after putting hardwork into training session...maybe i was training incorrectly to build muscle, i was doing whole body circuit all the time. i just started on MAX - OT training, low rep, high intensity, currently week 5..
thanks
ALSO, what should i expect of myself, when should i see gain? so that i don't set too high expectation and get so disappointed. coz some people, they just become hunky in weeks..some took years..

Honestly I have not tried syntha6. I like big companies and big brands so ON and Muscletech work for me. Which one?... this one:
http://www.muscletech.com/products/n...re/index.shtml
I haven't sampled everything out there so I don't know if something is better, but you know how it is, who cares what other people say if it works for you and I am bigger and stronger so I like it.

USN Muscle Fuel Mass (Or as its now known) Sci-MX Massh System, i seen great gains when using this, although it has a high amount of carbs per serving (100g).

Perhaps because there are too many new products all the time? Or it is too hard to maintain / set up ? ?
I emailed the admin., but no response. I think a poll would be a great idea. A little pie chart on what the whole world thinks of x and Y supplement type! Perhaps it would piss off the people and companies that lose or are not represented? I really don't know.

I think you're correct with all of what you typed. With new products coming out all the time, it'd probably be too much of a pain to maintain.

muscle milk naturals
I use muscle milk naturals because it has less carbs and sugars than the regular muscle milk. Plus it has no artificial sweeteners. I use other products along with it though like creatine, glutamine, and vitrix.

I am not selling the stuff, but geez it works like a charm, I am getting much bigger on it, no doubt. In just 4-5 weeks I see significant gains in size and strength, (yes I was already taking protein and creatine) I like it because it is a sort of all in one, so I don't have to take a bunch of different stuff. Maybe I should friggin' work for them, huh?

Pro Complex and nitrocore24
Any big differences between nitrocore and Pro Complex other than the price and nitrocore containing casein? As of right now my protein shakes are ON whey and ON casein at night.

I would have to say pro complex...hands down you really can not beat it whey protien isolate/egg the two most digestible forms of protein on top of a very impressive amino profile and a multi vita in it as well, and we cant forget the aminogen that it has!

i like the pro strength sixstar protein. it tastes great, both van/choc. ive built well using it although i dont mix with water, iuse 2% milk and get around 41 grams of protein per 16 oz water bottle using 1 scoop of powder.
its packed with all the other goodies that all the big brans have and i can pick it up at walmart for 18 bucks. thats muscle building on a budget!
