Be careful. When I graduated highschool, I weighed about 175. I was not healthy, but I was pretty thin. After 5 years of heavy partying, eating bad, no exercise, drinking too much alcohol and soda, and my metabolism slowing down I got up to 260. I take good care of myself now, but it would have been a lot easier to get in shape when I was in my early twenties. I was in denial of my unhealthy lifestyle. So, my advice is to be aware of what you are putting into your body. Have fun, but don't totally let yourself go like I did.

Agreed I went to college weighing probably in the 150's now I'm at 186. I'm halfway through college (still senior year and probably another semester after that, hooray super senior!) but I'm trying to reverse the effects before I slide too far.

College... not only do you get an education in academics, but you also learn how to have bisexual orgies with everyone in the dorms. True story.

you should be able to find healthy meals on campus, but it will be the SAME meals all the time. our cafeteria has tons of variety, but all the fun meals are **** for your body. eating healthy here means lots of trips to the salad bar haha.

The beer calories don't 'matter' at all, your training and this lifestyle can be as strict as you want it to be. If you want 100% results you need to give 100% dedication to your training, rest and nutrition.
College life, drinking etc. can have 0 impact on your training if it's that important to you.

Can you go self-catered? If you can that solves your problem straight away. If not, go for the cheapest 'meal' option (ie. least number of meals catered) and buy most of your food.
Do you have a shared kitchen/facilities to cook with?
Even a microwave/convection oven in your room can do wonders for cooking your own food.

Oh man Drunk/hungover PRs are the MOST rewarding, they're hard to do, especially drunk. Hangover PRs were more frequent.
Big bar nights here are Monday-Thursday, weekends are NO deals.
A LOT of times I'd go out and order 3-4 drinks and that is all, sometimes even less. Being social is important, so don't turn into a hermit. Just grab a few drinks and not much more and you'll be ok.
Try to go for least sugary drinks and low carb. Some of my favorites are..
Whiskey & Diet Coke
Rum & Diet Coke
Jin/Vodka and Diet Soda/Diet tonic
Very light beer (just a few for calorie and carb purposes)
Guiness is good if you want to fill yourself up and NOONE is going to challenge you to a guiness drinking comp, or call you out for drinking such a stout beer. It is similar in macros to a lot of light beers and doesn't taste like stale piss like some light beers do.
Avoid drinks like Long Islands, Liquor based spirit shots (1 here and there is fine) and pretty much any girly drinks as they're loaded w/sugar and unhealthy mixes.
Long Islands = 600+ cals per drink, all those drinks loaded w/that amount of spirits + soda in a big glass are LOADED w/cals. I HATE it when people buy me those big drinks like that, they give the worst hangovers too. Sugary drinks give the worst as they'll upset your stomach and make you extra dehydrated. Drink a lot of water before and during the drinking, this will make the hangover much more bearable.
