I just can't get excited about golf. I've never played, so maybe that's why.
I can't sit down and watch golf.

playing golf humbles you and makes you appretiate how amazing what hes doing actually is.everyone sucks at golf, and the courses they play on are set up in an entirely different manner that is 100 times harder than i public course.
but if i didnt play i wouldnt watch either. I love playing now tho, i try to play or go to the range everyday

Exactly. I used to be really competitive with the sport but stopped playing tournaments because it was taking over my life. I might get back into tournaments, but now I usually just go out and have fun.
Don't go to a super nice course if you're a beginner, people tend to be more serious. If you just want to screw around and drink some beer with your buddies, there's tons of courses for just that. Most people that play just like to go out, screw around, and have fun. It can be really relaxing and a good way to relieve some stress.

me too man, until i started playing like 4 weeks ago, now im addicted, this was the first tourney i have ever watched, i watched the 2 and 4 round of this tourney, and was amazed. i always knew tiger was good, but after i played and sucked magnificently, i realized how amazing tiger really was, especially after watching him play 2 full rounds.
i always thought golf was boring as **** and never watched it, however once i started playing i understood it much more, and really analyze the players to get some tips on form and what clubs they use ect... it becomes really interesting. i can't wait till the next major.
btw tigers last shot was REDIC, especially with that croud of like 50k people watching him in silence, and he drains the put, man that dude is straight alpha.
i lol'ed at one part of the tourney where the commentators said tiger could bench press 350-400 lbs lol. i think i heard he got 300, but no way he gets more than that.

For what it's worth he was said to be the strongest athlete at Stanford pound for pound.. although he was only 160lbs.. i've heard he could bench 300lbs while in college but who knows, myths, rumors, etc will always be around
anyways...
TIGER IS A JOKE CANT BELIEVE HE MADE THAT PUTT
In all seriousness I think Tiger is the most clutch athlete in the history of sports... unbelievable....
I really can't believe how good he is, in 100 years people will rue the fact that they weren't alive to witness such greatness.

unbelievable! This man has the most damage control I have ever seen or even heard of in an athlete. I like Mediate but he is going to get his ass handed to him paired head to head Tiger. What an amazing weekend on a bad knee for this guys.
I just hope you all realize we are watching one of the greatest athletes of our time.

Let's get the Tiger Wood's bench myth settled with.
Woods has claimed himself, not a source to max at 240 lb max during the year 2000. It is now 2008, and Woods trains regularly. Woods has been recently interviewed about his bench, but he decided to keep it a secret. Considering he benched 240 max 8 years ago, you can all assume he is benching 300 or more. No one actually knows exactly how much he benches, all the numbers thrown out about his bench are just made up.

On your bodyspace you bench 315lbs, wood is much bigger than you yet no way he benches more than 300? I'm sure he does.

Tiger's arms are huge. He is a big guy and I dont think that it is fat. I am sure he has a personal trainer and works out often.
"Tiger Woods bench press is reported to be around the 300 pound mark. Tiger has been weight training since he was 21. He keeps his training very private and very few photos have ever been taken on him working out (see below). When asked about his bench press and workouts, Tiger refused to give out any details. Though about a year ago Tiger said his bench was 240+. Tiger's personal trainer estimated Tiger Woods bench press (1 REP MAX) to be around the 300 pound mark.
Tiger Woods bench press is not the only thing thats big. Since he started working out in when he was 21, Tiger has put on a massive 30 pounds of muscle. He now weighs in at a little over 190 pounds. When researching Tiger Woods bench press we failed to find any solid evidence that he can actually bench that much. However, we were about to get a hold of some rare pictures of him working out. See workout pictures and other pictures of Tiger in action below."

I really cannot believe he won the US Open. He is amazing!!!! I watched every round since I work at Dicks Sporting Goods so it was on all day. Even though he was under tremendous pain at some points he still ended up winning. Just imagine if he did not have any pain, I am sure it would have been easy for him.....

does anyone else think that maybe him being so much stronger and swinging so hard could have played a part in his knee problem? i mean hes putting a ton of pressure on that knee when he swings his driver and long irons. I wouldnt be suprized if he slims down alittle now while recovering from this...
I just hope the problems stop i wanna watch tiger for another 20 years play golf

Yea I think he is going to have to change his swing or something again because he is going to end up hurting his knee again if he doesnt. But I also want to watch him break all the records and become the best of all time....
