I tore my lhb last august, I had the operation a week after the tear and was then in a sling for 2 months, lost approx 2 inches in overall size but it came mainly off the tricep. started training very light in october and slowly built back up, now 11 months later I am curling 52kg so I am pretty pleased, Everything else is as normal even dips are fine, I am careful on pull ups as the stretch can be quite extreme.
