Talking Bmr?!

So, I have looked all over the web and even learned in PT school how to calculate BMR. While I know the only 100% accurate way to know is to get it tested, I just don't have the money right now. That being said.... who knows the BEST way to calculate BMR?!

I am 5'7 and weigh 159 lbs.

I am looking to lose about 10lbs.

Your help is greatly appreciated

Thank you mucho!!!

Maybe a more practical method to lose weight would be to log everything you eat for a week, and find your maintainance calorie level. Then, just cut 3-400 calories a day from that amount. Works every time. Good luck.

Ironwill just pegged the perfect answer. I have 200 lb training clients with a BMR of 2500 kcals a day, and 200 lb guys with BMR's of 5,000 kcals a day. No formula will ever account for individual variances.
