Yep, pretty close to Indiana border. I just started working out at Health Trac here in TR.

I live in the West Ann Arbor / chelsea area and am working out at Westside gym in Chelsea. I am looking for a training partner to push me hard and help keep me motivated.

A little background:

Used to weigh 485lbs, went on a serious diet and lots of cardio, with light lifting at high reps 3x a week. Lost 265lbs in about 30 months time.

At one point I had gotten down to 211lbs but felt bad, sickly almost. My problem now is loose skin for sure, but my arms aren't that bad and I'm trying to destroy them at the gym and eat more in order to bulk some muscle onto them to try and fill out the skin. My legs are HUGE from carrying around so much weight, so I would just like to keep them toned up and not gain any mass on them at all. I want to tone my lower body and mass my upper body if that is possible.

Currently I bounce between 230-245 (I weigh 245 right now because I have been eating like crazy trying to gain mass). I am 6'3" with a large frame. I seem to gain muscle pretty easily but also gain fat easily too.

Any help is appreciated and I would love to find somebody to train with

Yeah, I got pics. I will post them in a couple days, I'm in the process of moving and my desktop computer isn't hooked up as of now. Thanks man, it feels awesome to have all that weight gone, I am actually moving home for a bit now to save money for the skin surgery

Hmmm - you could always go with the old stand-by; How a state's economy was largely based on a manufacturing sector that was (arguably) inflated. Sub-prime mortgages + lending rules that allowed people to take out loans based on overtime pay created big economic hole once the second shoe dropped, and now MI "enjoys" high unemployment, high foreclosure rates, and decreasing population...

It sure put the brakes on the urban sprawl, though.

So I live here in Brighton and used to work for this place called Liquid Manufacturing. They stored ALOT of LG SCIENCE gear and created all of LG's liquid products. About 2 months ago the police raided the place and seized all of it claiming it was all illegal steroids!!! Glad I loaded up before hand...

hey, so did you finally move to oakland county? I live in the east side of Macomb so i don't know of any gyms out that way. Me and a friend of mine train together on friday and saturdays but we can't meetup on the weekdays cuz of work and school. When we don't meet up I believe he lifts at a place around big beaver and woodward rd....or somewhere around there. If you would be interested I could ask him how it is there if you wanted

Yes! though the official move happens in a little more than a month, I am excited as I have finally been there a few times and it is beautiful. hmmmm, not sure of streets as of yet, but those seem familiar --- would you mind asking him?

Where do you workout in Midland? Eventually I won't be able to use the gym at MHS anymore because when school starts back up it won't be convienent for me to get there at 5am before everyone else does. So I'm going to need a new place. It looks like Smitty's is the only place in town but maybe I'm wrong? I haven't been by there to check it out.
