had one of those at the gym, not bad, but the cheap ones pivot strange, so you have to get your grip perfect when going heavy

2nd go around
I bought it, but rarely use it. The angle of the bend is not right. Actually, it is right...as in a "right angle". In my opinion, those type of cable attachments need to be bent forward at a 60 degree angle or so. This thing is well constructed, yes, and therefore fairly heavy. The weight of it, coupled with the poor angle, result in some relative discomfort for the wrists. My opinion only of course....but I haven't used it in months.

I've had that one for two years. Though I sold it because I no longer use any cables for back work. It was a good piece of equipment when I had it.

Yep that was the main drawback of this attachment. It pivoted at a weird angle when doing heavy lat pulldowns. They should have placed the bars in a enclosed circular bar like most tricep bars. I think that might have helped.

Yep the bars should have been bent slightly forward to make them more ergonimically correct when doing pulldowns. All in all it was still a decent piece of equipment though.
But as for personally I don't use any more cables for my back work so it doesn't matter to me anyway. Though the leverage macihnes like the one turboboy built seem quite promising as a good accessory to my back work.
I might buy one of those soon. I know the leverage machine I have now has worked like a charm for presses, side presses, upright rows, behind the back upright rows, and bentover rows. Much better than their freeweight equivalents in my opinion.
