How to get people to workout...?

So here's the thing: I have a few friends who could stand to lose a few pounds and there's also this guy at work who I'm crushing on (personality wise) who could be a lot more attractive if he lost some weight and toned up (he's kind of a bigger guy and has a beer belly thingy going on)... How do I 'politely' introduce them into fitness without coming right out and saying that they're fat/hurting their feelings?

you don't, it's not your business! especially if your motivation for them to workout is so they are more attractive to YOU. outside forces like some girl maybe dating you if you lost some weight does NOT = the turning point in your life where you adopt a new lifestyle
