Need A Work-Out to get CUTT UP

Here is the situation, I am tired of being a lazy fatass and I want more. I can workout every morning between 5am and 6:45am and I will be running 2-4 miles per day starting yesterday. Mass would be nice, but I really just want to get some decent abs and a fit looking body. I am very new to this and I need to know exactly what on Earth to do. Thanks alot everyone..

Me too,

I am looking for the same thing. ( I think) I want an athletic build again. I used to be about 6% bodyfat and active. I did higher reps 12 to 15 with enouh weight to make it tough. I ran alot, but ran my knees out. I am not allowed to run anymore, ( Dr's orders) So I would like to know what the new buzz is, as far as lean muscle training.

Heavy weights + Better Diet (Caloric Deficit)= Weight loss with muscle gain

Cardio would help but I would suggest interval training.

Look into full body programs such as:

Madcows
Rippetoes
Various Other proven ones (Use the search function)

Reason for fullbody programs:

They hit the basic "most bang for you buck" compound movements to give you good size and strength gains.

With a caloric deficit from eating less but nutritious food weight should drop.
