That article is over 3 years old. Do you think it would be helpful to write a new one based on experiences of now being fully recovered?

I think you should.
I'd love more details about your possible foray into competitive eating as well.

I've seen you post around a bunch then I was coming in this section to look at the recipes sticky and I saw this. This is really inspirational bro and I want to thank you for sharing. I struggled with an eating disorder up to about 4 years ago. For a while I just wouldn't eat anything besides soup 2 or 3 times a day and a couple slices of turkey on whole wheat bread w/ mustard once. Then I tricked myself into believing that I was going to "get into shape" and start running and eating more. Well eating more for me was actually eating no more than 1500kcals a day ever and running between 6-10 miles 4 nights a week. Once a week I might allow myself to go up to 2k for a special meal or something. I think the strain of counting everything was almost worse cuz I never really felt too hungry.
Then I met the girl who is now my fiance and I managed to ease my way out of it, luckily never getting to the point you did. Glad to see you're doing well and thanks again for sharing this man.

what i dont understand is, maybe you can answer this:
how could you possibly think that at how thin you were, you actually needed to get thinner? it blows my mind that someone like that, you were probably 6'2 120 lb or so, can look in the mirror and think theyre fat.
you obviously look great now. good job!
