Confession
So since Feb 19 I have been losing weight and doing fairly well i must say losing a total of 36 pounds by May 8. Here's the thing. My highschool grad was this past weekend and all I have done for the last two weeks is eat and drink whatever I want. Usually I would be mad at myself, but i'm not. It felt great and I enjoyed it. But i'm back on track now and that feels better. I'm only like 4 pounds up. Moral of the story is...if you fall off track...don't give up...i'm back at er. Also I just wanted to get all this off my chest.

Thanks...kinda a pointless post I know. It's just I have seen and heard so many say that after falling off track for a short time...they never get back on. I have done it before. I prolly won't do it again after this.

It is weird how you can let yourself go and barely gain any weight. I let myself go completely for a roadtrip for 5 days and came back 3 pounds lighter... our bodies are tricky things.

you won't gain much weight if you slide for a few weeks because your body is still all revved up from all the excercise you did prior, and your metobolism is still high and you still have that good amount of muscle to burn stuff off. however if you let it slide for a month or so you might start gaining more weight back.

You are absolutely correct that a small setback shouldn't derail you. Being 17 years old helps a bit, too.

Ha ya the age kinda helps me i'm sure. I used to be in good shape when I was a bit younger...then didn't do much for a year gaining a massive amount of fat...my view is now...i'm never getting like that again.

Catharsis sometimes feels better than endorphins.
Kudos for getting back the proverbial bike after a fall and congrats on your graduation!
