Maybe you didn't update, but it looks like you've been on top of all your workouts! Nice job on the HIIT That can be tough.
Oh, and if you can't do pullups, I suggest doing Wide-Grip Lat Pulldowns until you can build up your strength.
See here:

I would have a hard time at night...I love lifting at 5:30 in the morning...as long as you had something postworkout and could fall asleep...maybe try it and see?

It totally comes down to what you're comfortable with. As Tara mentioned, working out in the morning is a nice option. However, I've worked out in the evenings for months and months... I don't mind it, and I prefer it in comparison to getting up super early. It's all personal preference!! If evenings don't work for you, try getting up earlier... you'll get used to it over time

goodbye I'm done
from the start i did not really want to lift weights, i thought it would be too hard and too time consuming. My husbadn promished to help me every step along the way. With the new diet and new training program that has dwindled. I do no have kinesetic and spacial intellegence, one reason i have never tried dance and i am not good in group exercise classes. I get frustrated real easy.
i work out in our basement with our bit of equipment. we are limited on weight plates and equipment so we make do. at first he would stay with me the whole time i worked out to help me, spot me me and cheer me on. But now we fight the whole time and that just upsets me to the pint that i cant lift and i get fed up.
yesterday i did HIIT for 30 min on the recumbant bike. i was gonna lift today i did my 30 mins of cardio preworkout and then need to lift. my bent rows are gettting preety heavy so i wanted him to wrap the straps around the bar and my wrsts for me. i can never do it right. well he gets mad becuase i want him to do it and i cant remember to do it on my own.
well i am just fed up. i dont want to work out alone, and i dont want to work out with him if he doesnt want to and is gonna be mean. he thinks i should have this all down and memorized by now but i dont. i cannot afford a gym member ship, maybe i could to Ballys but i have no one to go with. i have 2 potential friedns but i know our school schedules are not gonna work with that.
ive been doing excellent on the diet, but i dont know if i should keep doing it if im not lifting? i may still do some cardio when i can
so i believe my body building journey is over after a short 2 months. i just cant take the stress its giving me as i sit here crying.

well I am sorry to see you stop, but in my defence its not my fault. The reason i was there all the time in the beginning is cause it was a new program and I wanted to show you how to do the exercises. After 3 weeks of the same program she should know how to do all the exercises by now. It is just very frustrating when i have to show her how to do the same thing every week, she doesn't pay attention at all when i try to show her. This past week she wanted to use straps , so i showed her how to do it, but that wasn't good enough she wants me to wrap the straps around the bar or db every time. And today when i was trying to teach her to wrap the straps around a BB i tryed to show her and walk her threw it step by step but all she wanted was for me to do it for her. she will learn nothing that way. So if she is going to be a baby about it thats fine. i would rather her quit than have us argue e every time she works out. And i didn't say i would not help her , i am more than willing to give her a spot or a little push, but not to do every thing for her. she will get no where that way. But I still love you holly and if you want to try again I will be here.

It makes me to see you guys not getting along.
I can see a little bit of both of your points. I think the important thing here is to get each of you to see a little bit of what the other person is going through/thinking.
Take a deep breath and try to sit down and talk about why you each feel the way you do. Don't tell each other what they aren't doing, but talk about how it makes you feel. Feelings are important as they shape our understanding of the world around us and are the number 1 biggest motivator.
Maybe you can set some "ground rules" for what will and won't be done when you train together. This way you can agree on how things will go and then make sure you abide by what you promised to each other.
Jay, you will have to understand that for most women, lifting weights is not something they like to do at all. They don't get the same pleasure that us guys get out of it, and it's real work to them. Therefore, you have to realize that they may not be very attentive to what you are teaching them and may forget. This is just to be understood.
Holly, don't give up. This is just a little wrinkle in your road to fitness. It will pass. Talk it out. Remember your original goals and don't give up on them. And stay on your diet. This can keep you from reverting to your old body even if you take a break from weights.
Don't forget that you can do basic bodyweight exercises too that can help you to keep fit. It won't be as effective as weights that really challenge your muscles, but it can help.

Thanks man, I think we'll work something out. I think some of it may be the workout program itself.I think it may be a bitte much for her right now. maybe we need to scale it back alittle , maybe 3 days of lifting and 1 day of hiit. 6 days of having to do something 6 days maybea a bit more than she can handle right now. I think we wil be fine and can work something.aftr our little vacation this weekend we can come back and start again.

update
Hello all who had folowed this short jurnal. Just a little update for those who are interested. Holly has not really done anything as far as lifting or cardio since stopping this journal. However she did not go off her diet. She is now down to 129lbs she is almost to her goal of125lbs. I stil keep trying to nudge her to work out but its not happening. Thats ok maybe when she gets a break from school in a few weeks she may do something.
