Black powder
I just took my tub of black powder back to gnc. I exchanged it for Sp250/ I felt that it didn't really give me the energy or the pump. I did average about 1.5 rolls of toilet paper a day while I was on it.

i was using superpump 250 (superdump haha never heard that before but..agreed) before i tried the black powder, the price really isnt bad if your using one scoop on w/o days only. its not like the jumpy restless sort of feeling i got from the sp250, more of a real intense focus. ive also had great vascularity since i started my new supplements, but that might actually be the Muscle Asylum altered states..
so much to choose from, im not sure if im gonna go with the black powder again, or try no-xplode. i'm liking the black powder so far though, and its alot easier to drink

this may sound dumb but im in my off season of wrestling trying to bulk up and I have the black powder and im not sure if it is a different product than NO-xplode, would it be bad to use both at the same time or would it not do anything

Definitely do NOT use both at the same time
You could use on different days but stacking them would be overkill
It is more or less the SAME as No-Xplode

also i want to use anabolic switch as well but it is pricey for the small number of servings. any advice on a creatine that works well? protein powder?

My diet is spot on since i've been contest dieting for 20+ weeks and i experienced the same from taking 2 scoops, i would hit the gym and have to use the bathroom immediately. I also returned mine and got superpump since its the only pre-workout supplement i like that is sold at gnc. (If it wasn't for my employee discount I most likely would have never tried the black powder).

dude...no-xplod, black powder, anabolic switch? stop buying into GNC! as far as creatine/n.o....universal storm, gaspari sizeon, hard sizeagen, controlled labs magnitude, san vault & v12, vasocharge, animal pump...all much better choices

i started taking this stuff in december or 07 and im ADDICTED! the workouts are insane i never want to stop working out... and my chest has a red tint near my neck 5 minutes into it.... and my viens are BULDGING out like crazy... and im at 160 ive went from curling with 20lb dumbells up to 40lb so i double with this stuff in a matter of 2 months... and my bench went up from 170 to 210 and ive jus went up on EVERYTHING i can even do 20 wall pushups (thats upside down) when i use to not be able to get 5....) this stuff is amazing...try mixing it with Fruit punch Gatorade.. it helpd me some... this stuff is amazing at making you a beast and ive got more energy and i can double my output and workout time! BEST EVER! i HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT FOR HARDCORE BODYBUILDERS that are really passionate about working out that just dont do it to do it they HAVE TO DO IT its a must.....so try it and then see what you think...ive got insane energy... and it will keep u up LATE if you take it around 9-10 at night so read the back it mentions that......also the best tasting stuff ive found im almost out of it.

Has anyone tried both Black Powder and Fast Twich? I have heard great replies on both products and am having trouble trying to find one to invest in.
I will be using one of them for a pre workout drink before i powerlift. So if anyone has an opinion please post. Or if you know of any other good pre workout drinks

I've been taking this stuff for about a week and a half now. Its as big of an energy boost as n.o. xplode but it does seem to do a pretty good job at keeping you going and shorter recovery times.

Black Powder User
I am about through a tub of the Black Powder. This was the first pre-workout I had tried and think it works pretty well. I agree with a lot of the posts about the energy without the jitters. I guess I think it works.
I am an early morning lifter because thats when it fits my schedule. I down a serving as soon as I hit the kitchen. Some morning it hits prety fast and some it takes about 20 min before I notice. I can say that it lasts longer than my workout.
Since I lift first thing, and suggestions for other sups during workout or even to the night before? I was trying a casien blend right before bed to see if that help the energy level a little but really don't know that it helped. Just looking to get the most from my workout.

I took Black Powder for 2 weeks and didn't really feel very much. I don't think I am a big time responder to stimulants in general as I've tried things like NO Explode before with moderate results, but this didn't do much for me at all. I only took 1 scoop as the packaging says so maybe I should have tried more, but the single scoop alone did very little for me. I didn't feel much of an energy boost and performance wise none of my lifts noticeably increased. Maybe I should have tried 1.5 scoops and gone from there... My 2 cents.

I just had a chance to try the Blue Raspberry in a single serving package. It was sooo tasty! I've tried all 3 flavors now. The BR is the best then Fruit Punch followed by Orange. I just needed a quick fix while I wait for my NO Xplode and NANO Vapor to arrive. Hopefully I'll have those tomorrow. Trying to keep my body from getting a tolerance to any one NO pre-workout drink.

I think I have tried just about all of these Pre Workout powders. Here are my reviews. And a little about me so you dont think I am new to working out...Im 6ft tall, 225lbs, bench 350lbs max (for now), shoulder press 225lbs, incline press 225lbs for reps for reps, T-bar rows 225lbs for reps.
NO Explode - worked for me for the first week and then nothing after that. Then I moved to SuperDump 250...
SuperDump 250 - no lie this stuff gave me a hemorrhoid. I have never had one before but while taking SuperDump 250 I was taking at least 10 craps a day and the doctor agrees that wiping so much irrated me enough to give me a hemorrhoid. So a shot in the ass later, cutting the hemorrhoid open and removing the clot, and having to miss working out for 2 weeks...that stuff just wasnt worth it. Not to mention I was out hunders of $$ in doctor visits.
SuperNova - Supposedly this stuff is just like NO Explode but with more caffeine. It didnt really work for me.
Cellucor M5 - this stuff actually wasnt too bad. If you can stand paying the hefty price tag then try it. Im not a supporter of GNC but this was the only place I could find that had it. I took it for 2 weeks and the energy, pumps, and strength were great. So far this was the best product I have taken. I bought the powder just because I think it works better than pills. The taste was okay going down but the aftertaste to me was awful. Great product though.
Black Powder - I chose this one over the M5 simply because I like the taste better, its cheaper, and you can find it other places than GNC. Otherwise both Black Powder and M5 work to best for me. I dont feel like i am "getting used to" or becoming "immune" to the products...they keep on working after week 2, week 3 and so on. Energy, Strength, Recovery, Pumps are awesome. And best of all no craps!

Nice review abacot. I also really like the Black Powder A LOT. I've went through two jugs so it seems like it's effectiveness is starting to slightly depreciate for me. However, it still works just not quite as intense as it used to be. I absolutely LOVED the taste of the Blue Raspberry! One of the other reasons I liked the Black Powder was it didn't seem to keep me up as much after I went to sleep. I typically work out after work and stay up for about 4 hrs after my workout. The NANO vapor seemed to hit me harder and keep me up so I tried to use that on days that I was off work and hitting the gym early. However, I just got a big jug of NoXplode and Nano so I'm back on those again. Really enjoyed the Black Powder though. Those craps you had sound terrible!

I got my hands on a few samples of black powder orange. I am about to go workout. I do have to say that the taste is wonderful! Its like drinking orange cream soda. (tastes almost like those fountain drinks -I cant think of the name atm)

Yeah, if you like the orange you'll really like the others probably. I liked the orange but it was my least favorite of the 3. I just picked up a 20 tube pack of Blue Rasberry yesterday for only $28 and GNC w/ Gold Card.

So, I too went into GNC today as well (like the above poster) asking for creatine, He recommended I get the MRI Black Powder for pre workout and Anabolic switch for post. Is this correct? Do I need to go thru a loading phase?

i have tried NO explode and got 1 or 2 good workouts thats it even after i uped the dosage to 3 scoops at the end of the bottle. Black powder kicked its ass. i got an amazing pump and saw great strides in increasing weight. i have done 3 bottles so far with breaks in between bottles 2 and 3. at the end of my last bottle i was taking 40 grams of protein. 20 before the workout and black powder and 20 after workout. the most i ever did was 2 scoops. most of the time 1.5. i recommend drinking a half gallon of water to flush out ur system because its not good for the creatine to sit in ur kidneys. i am done with black powder and now looking into other things. but i may return!
overall 8/10 for good focus and resuslts. tired all 3 flavors all good but i thought blue raspberry was the best.
