Weeks 1-4 Recap

I have finished my first 4 weeks of the transformation.
Weight: 148lbs totaling -7lbs in 4 weeks.

I can honestly say that Body Octane is my favorite Beta Alaine product I've ever taken. Not only am I completely focused when I am training, but I am also focused at work. The combination of ingredients in Body Octane with Vaporize, I believe is the reasoning for it. A few months back I remember nodding off at my desk and being tired by 2 PM...now I'm buzzing around my office all day long.

I am also completely rested when I wake in the morning, and have no trouble going to sleep at night. I wake to pee, but that's natural considering I am drinking 6lts of water everyday.

I had the flu for 10 days, that took some steam out of my socks, and I probably would've lost more than 7 considering I had to back off on the cardio a bit...my lungs couldn't handle it. Hopefully the weather will stablize so I do not get caught between seasons again.

I have a 2nd dieter in the house now, Matt, my fiance, is starting his 16 week prep to the North Americans tomorrow. Yeah!!! No more pizza or zero impact bars floating around to tempt me! Those Zero Impact bars are the devil. Although I believe in them completely as the best bar on the market, one bar equals roughly 1/3rd of my daily calories!!! Clean bar or not, I am happy they won't be around.

A lady that I know who is prepping for a show, described that competiting is like a pregnancy. There are 3 trimesters. So technically I just finished my 1st trimester.

My 2nd trimester there will be some changes. I am going to start double cardios, and I am taking out the rice cakes and replacing with yams, and I am switching to Dymatize Isolate instead of Strive. I wanted a change in flavor so this month I am going with the Orange Dymatize.

I am officially 21 weeks out from my show today! Early bird gets the worm.... I really like the look that the IFBB is implementing for PRO Figure this year. I hope Canada follows suit!!
