That's a tough call, I'd probably be more interested in the Lyle combo myself.
I am about to make a rather large order in a week and I'm getting the Eric Cressey book.
What do you guys think of Leigh Peele?

Her stuff seems to be basic and helpful for women that have no clue about things. I don't think she is going to teach you anything revolutionary, but she isn't bad for the novice woman.
I'll go for the Lyle McDonald combo.

I'm thinking about buying some more of Jamie Hale's books from BB.com along with that IntrAbolic stuff. I don't need it......but $21 isn't bad....and I do need some caffeine.

Alright sounds like a plan.
Hey Redhawk, here is a review of Leigh Peele's work from BR.

Leigh Peele "Fat Loss Troubleshoot"

Is currently prepping for release an extended version of ?The Fat Loss Troubleshoot?. This will be a start to the Troubleshoot Series.
What does this product claim?
Quote:
It is an Ebook guide that covers all the common mistakes made when people are trying to lose fat. It tells you in detail not just what to do to lose fat, but what NOT to do.
Where can I get it and how much does it cost?
19.99
Review:
Layout\Format
E-Book 5K. For the most part the formatting on an e-book has to be pretty darn bad to actually give a ?happy? or ?sad? face for. Over all this one plays on both sides of the court. The entire experience put me in mind of sitting across from someone and having them spew everything that they could possibly think of about a subject. It?s not always precise or wonderfully put, but you get every single thing that they consider relevant to the topic.
It?s wordy at times. If you?ve read Leigh?s blog you know where I?m coming from with this one. It?s not end of the world, but damn. This said, as the book continues through the wording gets more and more precise so it ?is? an issue in the beginning but pretty well works itself out by the end.
The other noteworthy thing that basically falls into the same vein is the large font. It?s easy to read, but you?re going to be scrolling?a lot. Again, not a critical thing and not nearly as annoying as it would be in print (you don?t get the ?stretching the content? feel).
Overall the formatting is adequate. Not fantastic, not retched.
Does it do what it says\Review
Novice\Enthusiastic Amateur:
I combined the two classes because in all honesty it?s pretty much the same as far as diet is concerned. Unless you?re looking for something really specific purpose-wise, we?re all in pretty much the same boat.
As far as fat loss nutrition goes this is about as complete a product as I?ve seen. For all the wording in the beginning, once you get rolling damn near everything you see is going to make you better at losing weight. You learn the basics of nutrition itself (this is what each macro does). You learn about measuring success. You learn about nutrient timing. You learn about training. You learn what to do when things don?t go like expected (eating out\lack of progress).
As far as doing what it promises, yes. I don?t see any reason why anyone that follows the advice here would fail in their fat loss goals.
Final Thoughts:
Leigh Peele?s Fat Loss Troubleshooter isn?t filled with super duper info that?s going to tell you all the secrets of the?whatever the hell secrets there are to tell. What it does give is the basics (and not so basics) of what you ?need to know? if you?re going to try to lose fat. It?s a terrific foundation of knowledge that maintains focus on the goal, not the method. Recommended to beginners looking for foundation level knowledge about fat loss.

Thanks Envy, I don't think that one would really be worth it.
I was looking into the Metabolic Repair Manual or w/e it's called, but I'm skeptical so I'll probably wait for Lyle to do a review on it, and some more feedback. It did just come out I believe.

How much does that book cost and where is it at? I remember a thread posted on BR in the Hatin' section about that book. I'm just glad that Leigh isn't trying to reinvent the wheel and act like she has a magical fat loss method like other authors.

I think it's 39.99, and an e-book, not positive though. That's the thread I first saw about it. I'm just curious about this book because in essence I've been "dieting" down to some degree for almost 3 years, with occasional maintenance/bulks in between. The general premise seems somewhat self-explanatory and not ground-breaking, so just looking for feedback on it first.

Probably is too new to tell. I think she linked a chapter sample up or something like that. Do you have Ultimate Diet 2.0?

Yessir. It's a pretty easy/quick read. There's some good info in it, but it's short and since it's a program/diet I feel other books would be more worthwhile, in terms of learning. Unless you plan to follow the diet at some point, then it'd be more worth it IMO.

I got ya. I'll bump that one thread on BR to see if Lyle has finished the book.
