Lose the fat, keep the muscle mass

Hey. So I've been bulking the last few months, made some gains, though not as much as I want yet. I'm getting worried about the abs though. They don't look so hot. It's not like I'm getting fat really, but I definitely lost definition there and I'd like to cut that up but keep what muscle mass I've gained.

Last year I lost about 18 lbs when summer came and the abs looked pretty good but I lost quite a bit of strength and some mass in the process.

What's the best way to cut up without losing mass and strength in the process?

Keto. Eat a high fat, moderate protein, low carb diet. Lift hard and do your cardio.

Keto works for some, but it's not necessary in order to lose fat and maintain muscle mass. I personally find it hard to stick to a basically pure fat/protein diet. It's inconvenient to carry said foods around when I'm on the go 12 hours a day and they get old rather quick for me.

That said, it might work for you, but I prefer taking a more balanced approach to dieting. It's worked great for me so far.
