I don't know if anyone here have heard of IDS Smart Gainer but I bought it because it's the cheapest weight gainer i can find (10lbs for $38). Just tried it today and surprisingly its the best tasting weight gainer I have ever tried (Have tried 3 different flavors from cytogainer and 2 from real gains). It also mixes extremely well. The flavor of the smartgainer that i bought is strawberry banana.

Universal Real Gains all the way for me. It's pretty cheap for its content. Here on BB.com 3.8 Lbs for 19.99$ (11 servings per container) or 6.85 Lbs. for 31.99$ (21 servings per container). Serving Size: 3.5 Scoops (155g)
Calories 610

Total Fat 6g
Total Carbohydrate 87g
Sugars 5g
Protein 52g

It has a better formula than most of the gainers out there. Perfect for people who are bulking. More of what you want and less of what you don't want. Lots of carbs/cals and pratically no sugar.

CytoGainer
My favorite weight gainer so far would have to be CytoSport's CytoGainer. Using it twice a day, once between lunch and dinner, and agian directly after work-out. You'll see some great gains. Also it has a large selection of flavors, all of which I find pretty tastey.

The best product in the lower price range would have to be Dymatize mega gainer. Tastes really great too and just the right amount of nutrients per shake.

This depends mostly on your overall macros and not one shake. As long as you keep your macros under control while taking real gains you should be fine.

I need to gain a lot of weight for football. Should I take GNC Pro Performance Weight Gainer 2200 Gold or Mass XXX?Even though 2200 has more calories, it is loaded with a lot more sugar.

Truth About Over The Counter Suppelements
i'm Jeremiah Alexander i'm a model who works for different agencies,a TRUE natural bodybuilder for the NPC, a book writer and performer as well as an actor and this is what i have to say about all theses supplement companies out there!! everyone of these ****in companies make the same bull**** products. none of them really do ****!!ZMA, NOS, Creatine and whey protein are still the only legal over the counter breakthroughs we have and they still take forever to really make a differents and once you get off a week or two later you lose your muscle fast.
i have been looking for a real supplement for ****in years and have yet to find one that works like they say it does. if people time the time to read the fine print on all these over the counter mass, strength and testosterone supplement made by companies like Muscle Tech, BSN and Gaspri they would see that on the back of it they all say the same ****IN THING! this product MAY help testosterone levels or MAY help strength.. NEVER does it say WILL! or that its a fact their product works. hahah
i have spent no telling how much money over the past 3 ****IN YEARS on these company products. (no dought many thousands) and in all that time if i would have found ONE ****IN PERSON THAT REAL SOLD or DESIGN STEROIDS I WOULD HAVE THE PERFECT BODY BY NOW. I GAIN BETTER MUSCLE NOT USING THESE SUPPLEMENT COMPANIES FAKE ASS SUPPLEMENTS THEN I WOULD USING THEM. I HEAR, READ AND STUDY ALL THIS ****IN TALK ABOUT STEROIDS THIS AND THAT. I HAVE NEVER! NOT ONCE FOUND ONE ****IN PERSON THAT REALL SELL OR DESIGNS ****!! IS THERE NO ONE OUT THERE THAT DOES BECAUSE IF THERE IS I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW...???? HAHAH I HAVE STUDIED THIS **** UNTIL I'M BLUE IN THE FACE AND MY EYES HAVE TURN BLOOD SHOT! STILL NO ONE NO WHERE CAN FIND THESE REAL MASS BUILDING SUPPLEMENTS CALL STEROIDS. WHERE THE **** ARE THEY!!!??? IF I WERE TO TAKE SOMETHING AS EVEN MILD AS THE REAL BOLDENONE I'D BE SET. OH WELL !!! HOW MAY ****IN YEARS DOES IT TAKE TO FIND A PERSON THAT DEALS OR MAKES THE ****. HELL I KNOW SO MUCH NOW I MAY EVEN MAKE THE **** MY DAMN SELF!! NO BODY ELSE IS GOING TO. HAHAH
THATS MY INFO FOR YA. **** ALL THESE FAKE ASS SUPPPLEMENT COMPANIES THAT ARE SELLING THESE STUPID ASS JUNK PRODUCTS THAT DON'T DO JAKE **** BUT MAKE YOU BURN FAT AND MUSCLE!!! THERE JUST IN IT FOR THE MONEY!! AND TO ME THATS THE REAL ****IN CRIME!! HELL, BAND OR PASS A ****IN BILL ON THOSE *******S FOR RIPPING HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS OFF THESE POR ASS SOULS BUSTING THERE ASSES IN THE GYM EVERYDAY THINKING THERE GOING TO LOOK EVEN BETTER IF THEY BUY THESE COMPANIES BULL**** SUPPLEMENTS.
bottom line( don't waist all your hard earn money on these fake supplements. if really wana lookin great, do you homework on steroids then buy steroids from a really good source and take them in moderation to make your body look they way you want it to.) other wise you'll never look like 95 percent of these bodybuilder and fitness guys in all the muscle magazines.
COLD HARD FACT!!!

Isopure MASS
Isopure Mass was the weight gainer of choice for me. I took it after my surgery and added 35 -45 lbs on over the course of 5 months, with most of it being a lot of muscle mass in my legs and back. Granted I had lower body surgery so the gains came quick but Isopure mass was a great help. After I got off of it when I hit my goal weight of 275 the gains tappered and now on Isopure Zero Carb protein I have just remained at a constant weight.

I would move away from a single sourced protein, into a blended protein wich will offer you more time for building muscle this is called protein synthasis that just means your body is in the enviroment to build and maintain lean muscle tissue. try to find one with time released carbs not just maltodextrin that should help ya bro. check this website they have killer prices

Love universal and all their products, but just my two cents.
I went through 2 "big" tubs of Universal real gains in the last month and 1/2. Gained barely ANYTHING (1 lb) if that - from it all.
Im a very lean guy. I was 141 now im 173 and having a hard time putting on weight. Muscle is still coming because I go to the gym 4/5 days a week and lift "big." Still getting huge gains in the gym but gaining weight is bad at the moment.
I know diet is the most important thing and any supplement is just a "Supplement" but I figured it would help a bit more then it did. I eat well throughout the day (eggs/chicken/x2 protein shakes/salads) "quality calories/food" - Peanut butter, tunafish, etc etc. WW bread, turkey sandwichs.
I love universal and will continue to use their products but these 2 weight gainers were a complete waste of $. I am now on optimum "Serious mass" and have gained probably 2 pounds in the past week. I know its not as healthy/quality... but its calories are almost double/triple w/ milk and there more fats/sugars, etc.
Im literally the definition of a "hard gainer" so maybe its just me though. Other universal products still are sick!

Get the chocolate or banana one. Cookies and cream is good too but it didn't mix well for me cause of the bits of cookie tossed in. If you want a smoother shake try choc or banana, they both taste really good IMO but watch out the stuffs rich.

1 scoop whey
1 scoop casein
2 servings oats
1/2-1 cup broccoli
2 servings lowfat milk
1 serving natural pb
1 serving liquid fish oil
breakdown...
~75g protein
~70g carbs
~30g fat
i'd say probably better than any of the ones mentioned so far? unless someone else said something similar. thoughts?

GNC's Mass XXX just came out with a fruit punch drink similar to the isopure RTDs. It's delicious, only 20 ounces and still has all 700 calories and 50g of protein. Plus it's actually a drink and not a shake, big plus in my book.
