X-Factor/Leviathan Stack - Fem Tester
This log is soon to come....
I had an interest in X-Factor and now I am going to give it a try along with Leviathan Reloaded. Thank you Molecular Nutrition for selecting me to be a tester! Just a little backround info on me: I am in a bulking stage right now with about 8 more weeks left. I am hoping to get things ramped up again before I start to cut at the end of March. I was not able to find alot of research on this product in women but I see no reason why they shouldn't take it. Pictures to be posted when I get the product hopefully by the end of the week
X-FACTOR: Faster And More Profound Increases In Muscle Size And Strength!
Clinically tested at Baylor University for safety and effectiveness, Molecular Nutrition's Anabolic X-Factor? is the world's first patented hypertrophic catalyst. By enhancing the storage of arachidonic acid in exercised muscles, X-Factor drastically amplifies the body's sensitivity and responsiveness to resistance training. This means faster and more profound increases in muscle size, strength, even the rate of lipolysis (fat loss). Clinical trials at the Exercise & Sport Nutrition Lab at Baylor University have demonstrated remarkable increases in muscle strength (44% > placebo), peak muscle power (600% > placebo), average power (223% > placebo), and anaerobic endurance (250% > placebo) with 50 days of X-Factor supplementation. Having passed the ultimate test of clinical investigation and peer-review, X-Factor joins the elite ranks of a select few clinically proven ergogenic agents.
LEVIATHAN RELOADED: Next Generation Fat Incinerating & Lean Muscle Technology!
Introducing Leviathan, the first product to ever successfully combine ultra-intense fat burning potential with explosive lean muscle building. Typical fat burning products are designed to only burn fat at the sacrifice of also burning off hard gained muscle mass. Not Anymore! With Leviathan, a cutting phase is no longer necessary to make sure you are lean and ripped enough for competition. Leviathan will shred you up fast while enabling you to continue to pack on the slabs of ultra dense lean muscle you're going to need to dominate. Never again will you have to sacrifice those hard fought for muscle gains in order to cut fat. Leviathan was engineered unlike any other product to provide you with the following extreme fat burning and lean muscle building benefits:
Produces extreme Anti-Catabolic Fat Burning which results in Fat Lipolysis while preserving lean muscle mass.
Increases Norephinephrine production, the single most important hormone for burning fat, by over 50%.
Promotes Neuro Intensification & Aggressive Focus for powerful energized workouts.
Stimulates the body's natural testosterone production Non-Hormonally causing your body to constantly be in an anabolic state, allowing optimal lean muscle gains and overall muscle hardness.
Increases the levels of "good estrogens" (2-hydroxyestrogen) while reducing the level of "bad" estrogens (16-hydroxyestrogen). Not only does increased production of 2-hydroxyestrogen result in higher levels of testosterone output but 2-hydroxyestrogen also has been shown to rapidly metabolize fat.

In for the good times. Hopefully this log will show other women reading this board what these kinds of supplements can do for a competitive athlete. I think many would enjoy them and get good use of them, but they kind of get labeled as supplements "for men."
Looking forward to the log.

So here it goes....
I recieved the X-Factor from Molecular Nutrition a couple of days ago. I had expected to do this study a couple of months ago and some things have changed since then. I had to get approval from my trainer/nutritionist because I am on a strict regimen right now as I am getting ready for contest so I am in a cutting phase. I was hoping to do this way before contest but I have read positive things about using X-Factor during a cut cycle so I will give it a try. I will be posting my workouts and general thoughts. I will also post my before and after pics.
Some general information.... I am getting ready for contest and so I have a calorie deficit right now. I weight train 5 days a week, one body part per day. Cardio is also being done twice a day, one session at about 30-35 minutes and a second session at about 45-50 minutes, 5 days per week. I will not be noting this every post because it just a given, only if it changes I will make note. Because I am getting ready for contest alot of my workouts are geared towards conditiong which include plyos and minimal rest time. Some workouts are heavier with less reps.
I took the first dose yesterday of the X-Factor. I have been taking the Leviathan for about 15 days as my diet called for a fat burner. So here are the pics for the starting point.... I will be posting what I did for workout yesterday in a separate post.

I can't wait to see this!!!!!
One thing though: X Factor will increase hunger, big time, so be carefull, and hide your junk food away. It's tough to diet as it is, but X Factor will do great things if your diet is top notch. Leviathian will help for the hunger, so you should be okay. Best of luck, and I am following your log! If you need anything, feel free to let me know!

Thanks
I did not know that but I think it will be a good thing in my case because often times I have trouble getting all of my food in because I am not hungry and it is so extremely important to eat it all when you are dieting down. Thanks for the warning!

Day 4 (monday April 14, 2008)
So this is actually from yesterday (day 4). LEG DAY
Rest time was 30 secs- 1 min between sets
GIANT SET (first 3 exercises)
Straight leg deadlifts (GS)
50 x 10
50 x 10
50 x 10
Single leg ham curls (GS)
30 x 10
30 x 10
30 x 10
Walking Lunges (GS)
30 x 3 sets
WS Hack Squat
125 x 20
125 x 20
125 x 20
125 x 20
Step ups (alternating, no rest)
15 x 3 sets
Leg Extensions
30 x 15
40 x 15
40 x 15
Squat Thrust
10 x 3 sets
General Thoughts: I felt good going into the workout as I just came off 2 complete rest days on Saturday and Sunday. I was happy with the amount of weight I was using given the fact there was minimal rest and a giant set. I have been taking the Leviathan for a couple of weeks by itself and I take 2 pills about 30 minutes before my weight training and I do feel very energetic for my workouts but without any jitters. I also take 1 x-factor now preworkout and then the rest of the doses spread evenly throughout the day. I did have a great cardio session post workout - in the zone. Slept very soundly (with of course the exception of having to get up for the bathroom every 2 hours, the only drawback of drinking 1-2 gallons a day!)
Tommarow - shoulders....

Diet
I wanted to mention a note about my diet. I won't get into specifics about what exactly I am eating but I will give calories and macros. It is completely clean of course and the diet changes every three weeks. Calories fluctuate a little and the macros change. Right now I have aprox 1600 calories, 57% protein, 31% carbs, 12% fat. Next week the diet changes.

General thoughts: I slept well last night and felt good this morning before workout. Shoulders are usually tough for me as they have been my weak spot. I felt today was a good strong shoulder workout for me. My shoulders were pretty whipped by the time I got to the last exercise and so I was surprised I could do the full laterals with 8 pounds, happy with that. I was supposed to do back today but I have an issue going on with my middle back deep inside, hurts when I take a deep breath, so I am going to do tomarrow.

I don't take a separate bcaa because I get about 20 grams of combined bcaa's from my daily shakes. But here is what I take in addition:
Glutamine - 50 grams per day
Athlete's multi vitamin
Vitamin C - 5000
B-Complex - 4 times a day
Calcium/Magnesium - 1000 mg a day
Next week I will be adding L-arginine and L-carnitine to the mix.

Weight
I know I haven't posted in a while, I will get back on track with workout info next week. One strange thing that has been going on...... My body seems to be changing every week, it appears that I am getting leaner, harder, clothes are looser; HOWEVER, my weight has been at a sticking point for almost 3 weeks now which is freaking me out. I guess it is great if I am continuing to lean out and can keep my size....
