Hey, it's exciting news for the ST. And if Booker and Lloyd flame out, we at least have someone on the roster with a proven track record.

WTF, where the hell have you been? They have had 1 bad draft since 2000 and even the 2001 draft was better than alot of other teams. The draft seems to bad the only thing they are able to get right lately. I haven't always liked their picks when I saw them but they alway paned out one way or another.
Anybody heard of Lance Briggs, Charles Tillman, Mark Bradley, Nathan Vasher, or Deven Hester before they got drafted, I didn't.

I'm talking first round here. How many times have we drafted some "stud" in the first round, only for him to turn out to be a huge bust?...

glad we didn't take mendenhall, i really think we need to rebuild the line before anything else. Chris Williams will be a good fit, i'm surprised they didn't take Brandon Albert though. hopefully we pick up Kevin Smith or Matt Forte later on in the draft

why? We need a running back. I'm no expert on the kid but, from what I've seen and heard about the guy I think it's a good pick. Hopefully it will light a fire under Benson's @ss and motivate him a little more.

Chad Henne or Brian Brohm had better fall to us in the third round...
Forte is a decent pick though.

If we were going to go with a QB early we wouldn't have used our first on Williams, we would have snagged Albert seeing as how he is a guard that could potentially become a LT down the line. Williams can start at LT now. That suggests to me that the Bears believe that with our D, if we fill some of the holes we can win now. Either of those guys would take time to develop into QB's and consequently leave holes elsewhere unfilled.
Since we still need an OG my money is on the Bears drafting one with their first pick in the third. Hopefully, Roy Schuening.
And I think they'll pick a QB in the 4th (Josh Johnson).

Well we have the number 7 pick in the third round, so hopefully we could get Brohm.
