Bodybuilding Lost a Legend Today
www.europasports.com
Lin McAteer passed away today as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident. Lin was my training partner all of last year and is probably one of the top five best friends I have ever had. He was a true friend and he is what is GOOD about bodybuilding. He will be missed and although many of you might not know him, he has been in this industry for many years and his contributions are numerous.
Lin had no ego and would go out of his way to help people. Please send condolences through Europa's website and let Lin's family and fiance know that they are in our prayers.
Although Lin might not be physically with us anymore, his spirit and contribution to this industry live on. I'll see you on the other side, Big Lin.

Bodybuilding Lost a Legend Today
I had the honor and priviledge of working with Lin for the past 7 years. As Marc said He was an incredible man and a good friend...one of the best guys you could ever know. He's definately going to be missed by all of us at Europa and by everybody that ever met him. And my heart goes out to his Wife and Family.

As I say to all, I believe in something beyond our reality, beyond what we can percieve and experience daily. There is something more. He is living life part 2 now.

Even in the moments after being seriously injured, all Lin cared about was everyone else.
http://www.the-dispatch.com/article/...0388/1005/news
"A Lexington police officer who responded to the scene said in a statement that McAteer was alert and responsive, and he "was worried about the other car involved," asking repeatedly if anyone else had been hurt."
I think we can all learn something from this man.

I had the fortune of seeing him everyday and getting to know him for damn near a year. This is completely believable. He was more concerned with others than himself. MUCH more.

I did not see this yesterday....
Lin seems like an amazing person, he will be missed for sure.
Just a real sobering reminder to live each day to the fullest.
