I will be starting to soon, i stop bulking friday and i will be getting ripped for the summer beaches starting shortly after. I dont see any harm in it.

no, they are a set of muscles just like all the other muscles in your body, why would you train them differently. they need to recover too. i train them every other day

best bet would be to go every other day, abs a re a muscle and need rest just like every otyher group

Actually abs aren't "just like every other muscle". In the abdominal section of your body weight and bodyfat plays more of a role than other sections of the body therefore meaning that better nutrition will help more than exercise. I myself support the "As Much As Wanted" theory for abs.

true but i still find that they get sore like every other group and benefit from a break

Yes, I do not encourage for people to work them out everyday for a year but I do think that it would be fine to work them out 6 days in a row if soreness is not occurant and if the person who is doing it can handle it.
