Well, since Izzy has been away for a while, I'll just take the initiative to re-decorate for her. I am sure she wouldn't mind:

Have a good one Izzy!

lol Hey Brian, I really have to go look at your journal, I wonder how things are going with your new coach ( if you haven't fired him yet)
My coach wants me to be around 8.2% at the comp since I look leaner then I really am. at 7% I would look like death. No need to take care of the competition, I can do that on my own!

Thank you Adrienne, sometimes I wish I was like some of the other girls who compete and had a less stressful job. I love what I do but sometimes it's hard to manage everything. Your life sounds just like mine.

Hello April! My hair is intact fiew! lol seriously after the fact we laughed but seein myself falming was no fun.
I know your bday is on Sunday! An Aries, just like me (we're the best) I'm not really doing anything special since I need to sleep, I am depleting and I can't drink. I will most probably go for coffee with my GF and we will celebrate on the 20th, instead.

Hello Brian! Wow, what a pretty site. How have you been?
Ok so as you know work as been crazy and life as been crazy as well. Still training and following diet but I've plateaued. I think it's because I'm stressed and I don't get enough sleep. Last week I was at 112 and 9.3% I need to drop 1% in 3 weeks which is doable. I'm currently having 8 meals a day and they are protein and good fats only, 0 carbs per day for 6 days and 1 carb up day. I look a lot fuller then last time and I look more muscular even when I deplete. I'm getting my suit on Monday and I should start posing and walking soon. My friend Isabelle who'sa wnso pro will help me with that. I'm pretty sure I will be at least 3 lbs heavier then last time. Things are looking good.
As you can see I have changed my username and profile. Someone used some info on my old page to backstab me and at the same time hurt someone I love very much. Now I'm not in high school anymore and I don't need that so I took it down and decided to start with a clean slate. I wanted to take some progress pic tonight for my new page but I'm just too tired. I will try to take some tomorrow or saturday instead. I should probably take them after my carb up, we'll see.
There is so much more I need to tell you but I will have to come back, need to iron out my clothes for tomorrows meeting.
It feels good to be back

Thanks April! So far my day is great.
Ok so one thing I forgot to mention is that I am no longer single. And today he's been spoiling me and not only with presents, he's just fantastic and I'm really happy.
Now this morning was leg day and it was brutal but the good news is that it's my last deplete day of the week! woohoo, tomorrow is my carb up and I will try to take progress pics after my shoulder, tris and ab wo!
A couple of weeks back there was a piece on TV about supplements that people take that are illegal here because they are steroids but they are super easy to find. Now when it came out a bunch of girls freaked out because under their coache's recommendation they took the supp not knowing what it was. Some had even told their coach that they wanted to stay natural. Well last week the director of FAME east came to the gym so that we could buy tickets and he told us that the girls had been calling him asking if they could compete since they didn't know what they were taking and had they known they never would have touched it. 10 girls had to drop out since it's a tested competition and they were told that they would be tested if they showed up. I feel bad for those girls because #1 they didn't know and #2 just because they take something doesn't mean they don't work hard and suffer through the dieting. Also I like when there is a lot of competition, I feed on that. I wouldn't want to win just because the other girls suck.
Ok so that's my story for today!
Have a great day!

(belated) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! (to you as well Vanilla Bean).
OMG! There are going to be soooooo many broken hearts in here! I hope you have flood insurance for your journal.
That's craziness about the girls following their trainers orders and then being banned! But don't let their mistake make you feel bad about doing good.
I don't know how you are doing it, with your life so full and busy and that diet being so strict, and that training program being so hard. You are really working hard for your goals and that's what winners are made of! Have a great weekend.

I had to force myself to go back and read the rest of your post. Your comment about performance enhancing supplements sums up my biggest gripe about the issue. People who seem to make the biggest fuss ignore all the hard work and effort that went to the end result.
Happy belated birthday Izzy. I hope you had a blast! Seeing how you haven't been here for a few days I'm guessing you did. Still being swept off you feet?

Hello everyone! Again I'm sorry I haven't been around lately but between the cooking, working and training I don't have a lot of time. During the last couple of weeks the diet changes all the time so I can't really prepare all my meals in advance so I'm stuck doing this at night instead of posting. I laso have all the hair, makeup, pedicure, tanning, suit, routine and posing practice, evaluations and the fact that I have a convention next week and I had two galas this week... But here I am for some update!

Hello Joc! I didn't do much for my b-day given since I was 2 weeks out but I will celebrate plenty after the show. I agre with you, I know some athletes who are not natural and I see just how hard they work, they deserve the credit that they get. It's just a matter of picking the right show.

Sorry Hoos, I've been busy. No I'm not married but recently someone I had gotten to know as a friend became more and I've never been happier. He is unbelievable. He is sweet, caring, really really really smart and he makes me laugh. He's also very supportive and that's great.

LOL nope I don't have insurance, I actually have the hardest time getting a date. I was once told that I'm intimidating!!!
You're right, work doesn't make competing easy but I want this soooo bad. There have been many times when I wanted to quit but you just have to remember why you're doing this and focus really really hard. I have to admit that I have 0 energy and I have trouble thinking straight on my 5th and 6th deplete day but it's doable.

Thanks Darren! I am dead tired but my spirits are high so that's good. I can't wait for my massive carb up. I just hate feeling weak all the time. Training is going well, I have a new one for the last 10 days and it's a lot of fun. The diet is brutal, I'm eating protein 8 times a week 5-6 days a week and nothing else so it's hard but the results are really good.

Ok so I'm currently 8 days out of my show and enrgy level is LOW but I should feel better at the end of my carb up. I'm currently 8.5% and 112. I have my next evaluation tomorrow so I will let you know what the new results are. I will also take progress pics but I need to warn you, I'm soooooo flat it's scary.
Have a great day!

Wow, that's a lot going on. Honestly, the work and prep that goes into competing really blows me away. I have so much respect for those of you who do it. And you seem to do it well, Isabelle.
So does your diet change from day to day when you get this close to contest? And how does your training change as it gets closer?

I Won!!!!
Hello everyone!
Ok so I'm currently sitting at my desk, eating chocolate, peach rings and cherry blasters and just enjoying it for a day or two before I start eating clean again. Victory is sweet!!!
I had a blast saturday, it was so much fun. It was a long day because the show ended at about 11p so I got out of there by midnight but it was great. Work was crazy last week and I was out of the office most of the week at a convention and meeting with clients so the diet and drinking enough water was not easy. I also didn't get enough sleep... Oh well I made up foir it the last fday by going to bed super early and maked surte I got plenty of rest. At that point I knew that I had done all I could and that all I could do was relax and stay focus. I have to admit that I had my man's support and that he knew exactely what to say to make me feel better. My coahc and my friend Isabelle also told me that all I needed was to walk up on that stage with confidence and it would be ok. I did and it worked!!!!! I woke up rested and relax. Got up, ate, got ready and went to the show. I got there, got ready and waited, waited and waited. Had sugar pumped went on stage and saw my mom and sister sitting with my neighbors!!!! I had the biggest smile and I was just so happy to be there!
The we did them wear and everybody loved my UFC outfit!!!! So lunch break, rest and finals! I looked even better at night and I was quite happy with that. I knew I would be in the top 5 but I had no clue I would end up winning!!! I was so excited. They called out the top 3 and I was in there so I was really happy and I'm standing there with my fake smile ready to clap for the winner and when they said and the winner of the fitness model open category is Isabelle Rochon I lost it, I just stood there in shock!!! I had a Miss America moment where I looked at my coach, looked at the judges, looked at my sisters and started shaking!!!! I can't wait to see the pics I still don't know what I looked like on stage and it's hard to compare!
I will post pics as soon as I get them!
Thank you all for your support!

So does your diet change from day to day when you get this close to contest? And how does your training change as it gets closer?

Hello Hoos! Well I deplete for 5 days and then I carb up so I eat nothing but meat for 5 days and then I eat sweet potatoes, oats and potatoes mium mium mium.
I stop training 2 dyas before the show to make sure that I don't retain any water and the day before you try to rest as much as you can!

Congratulations, Izzy!!! I'm very happy for you. It was great to follow your training. You worked your butt off. I hope you enjoy the down time after this one before you start prepping for the next one.
