sweets

When I am craving somthing sweet I will make a cup of the low fat jello pudding with a little cool whip or have a protein shake of cookies and cream mixed with milk instead. What other things do you guys do when ur craving sweet?

I'm a big fruit guy so a fruit smoothie with a shot of protein will usually help me when I'm craving something sweet. If that doesn't work, SF jello or SF pudding is also helpful. My last resort will be to actually buy a bar of dark chocolate and have a couple of blocks at a time. (I know that's not ideal but it helps a serious craving)

fruit, caramel rice cakes, sugar free pudding - (make your own add whey), couple piece of chocolate if that is all i can find (not big on chocolate).

I love the sugar free 10 calorie jello packs. I have huge cravings for carbs and sweets... I'm cutting my carb intake and I have jello when I'm bored looking to "snack". I also do the protein drink as well and mix mine with skim milk if I realllly need a sweet thing. Also after I work out I cut an orange/apple/pear/banana into slices and put it in a bowl. This makes it feel like a real treat and when its in slices I notice it takes me longer to eat and once I down a bottle of water it gets me set. Another thread mentioned putting a picture of a fat person in your wallet which is also a great idea. I also have crazy cravings for pizza all the time so my "cheat" meal consists of me making my own wheat crust with healthy toppings.

Fruit is it for me, but if I want to kill the sweet cravings completely, I usually have to cut out anything with a sweet taste, even diet soda, for several days. Once it's out of my system I don't have the taste for sweet anymore.

i think im weird. ive never had a "sweet" tooth. i never really liked candy, ice cream or anything like that. before i ate healthy i think i had a tooth for fat lol. pizza, wings, anything unhealthy!

Yep! I love sweets, its my downfall with out a doubt. If I stay away from them for a good amount of time, I'm pretty good with keeping them out of my diet.

I never liked yogurt but I LOVE it now and that seems to help the cravings as well.
