you're here to learn right man? Did anybody mention muscletech? there's a reason, they have some ok products, but most of them are completely overpriced and not worth it. Try monohydrate and see how it works, go on from there.

Monohydrate is a good beginners creatine. After you try that you can try things like Size ON or Green Mag if you feel a need.

The best IMO is either plain old creatine mono or Green Mag. Green Mag is amazing, both taste and quality wise!! Also, Green Mag is relatively cheap as well.

try creatine monohydrate pills first...it's great.
Celltech is good, it's an all in one package from muscletech but definately expensive..
Make sure you drink some juice, not orange juice, with the creatine mono

carbs aren't that important as 5g a day is excessive already, and if it's taken post workout then just about any food will elicit an insulin response anway, and orange juice is completely fine, your stomach has a pH of around 0 or 1, orange juice isn't gonna do jack to creatine.

I've been using Prolab Creapure Monohydrate. It's nothing fancy and the price reflects that. It's cheap and works great for me - it's a great place to start because if for some strange reason it's not the right product for you it's a small investment as opposed to starting with some fancy creatine that may not work and you're out more money.

ya, listen to the newbie broscience on the boards. Heck sugar is so important that everybody still uses the original cell tech! And all these other good companies who come out with creatine blends with no carbs are complete morons!!!
and even though the FDA recognizes the pH of orange juice as roughly 3-4
http://vm.cfsan.fda.gov/~comm/lacf-phs.html
and a quick google search shows the stomach hits a pH of 1-2
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gastric_acid
where the creatine will sit for an extended period of time
otherwise, ya don't listen to me

ha ok, i didn't get the sarcasm at first
hey i'm all for "whatever works for you", but judging from your avi you look like a pretty extreme ecto and large amounts of carbs, and specifically sugars, aren't going to be detrimental at all for an ecto. For somebody without the bodytype of an ecto these sugars can be one of the worst dietary choices possible. Notice how everybody's fat nowadays and all the carbs most people eat are the crappy refined high GI kinda? They may not be hurting your appearance which is fine, but in general it's probably a better approach to advise people to avoid the sugary carbs.

Yeah it def. does depend on what body type you have, and how hard you train. Sugar and carbs are not for the weak at heart.

I would use creatine mono (to save money) and focus on insulin sensitizing strategies instead of fancy salts of creatine. I think you will get more realistic effectiveness that way.
X factor, EFAS, R-ala and other agents (even H2O if dehydrated ) can help with insulin signaling inside the muscle.

What is a good creatine mono brand in pill form?
Are pills better than the powder?

I use Dymatize Micro Creatine Mono.
Great price and is a trusted manufacturer.
Most mono's are the same. It's a great beginner supplement (that's why I use it)
The cheapest I have found (and ordered) is Supplement Direct Miconized Mono 1000g for 14.99. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/sd/creatine.html
