If the joint pain gets worse or is accompanied by swelling or stiffness go and get your ASO titre checked for rheumatic fever. It comes from strep--I had it and I had no symptoms of strep whatsoever. If you have recently had a sore throat at all--don't wait, get to the dr. Trust me on this one.
Be well,
jean

I never had a sore throat either.
Are you getting enough healthy fats in your diet? Your body does need fat for certain vitamins and nutrients to be absorbed.
Or perhpaps, as you said, you just needed a break.
I hope you continue to feel better.

I was having a lot of wrist pain as well. It was really holding back some of my lifts, particularly db presses. My wrists and forearms would give out long before my chest was done.
I got some wrist wraps and they seem to help a lot. Nothing fancy, just some 12" wraps I picked up at Sports Authority. I try to do most of my lifts without them to keep my wrists and forearms from falling too far behind, but when I'm going really heavy, they help a ton.
