re:

That's when I'd do it, you'll be more energized and can probably push yourself harder. I think it's too easy after a long day to "take the easy way out."

I totally agree. Even if you're pushing as hard as you can after a long workday, it won't be as hard as if you were working out fresh, or at least that was the case for me when I first started out. Getting up extra early was horrible at first (I am so NOT a morning person ) but now I actually look forward to it.

I work nightshifts 11pm-7am fri-mon nights. So 4 nights a week.

What i do is, on nights that i work, i workout RIGHT before going to work. And on days that i have off, i workout whenever i damn well feel like it =P.

I do a 6 day on, 1 day off split... so i just save that one day off, for a night where i'm just too tired to go to the gym before work.

Also guys tend to have the most testosterone in their system in the morning, goes down really low around 4pm, and boosts up again later or something funky like that. Yea thats for stupid daywalkers. Our bodies are on a different schedule.... We can do whatever we want =)

My work schedule is extremely weird. I work two day shifts, then two nigh shifts.... 6am-6pm or vice versa.

On my night shifts I usually workout after my first meal of the day and sometimes if I'm really crazy I'll do about 20 minutes interval cardio when I get off before going to bed.
