Avant's was the original. I spent MASSIVE amounts of time building a relationship with a supplier that was willing to custom manufacture the material to tight specs and a decent price.
There have been others (no names here) that did not do strict QC, and ended up with inferior material. This damaged the overall reputation of Sesamin as an effective fat burning/health improving compound.
Sesathin has continued to deliver on all promises, and still at a very economical price, but from a supplier perspective there are not massloads of money to be made without cutting corners - so the material has become hard to get and, from a lot of companies' perspectives, not worth it.
