i think the reference is the other macros and quality of ingredients. getting protein isnt so important that its vehicle can be anything.

Honestly, I'd rather have a ho-ho and wash it down with a protein shake.....Or just choose my protein bar more wisely.

Promax no more
Buckeye muscle is right about the HFCS. I knew about but like an idiot I never checked the ingredients in the promax bars. If anyone really thinks HFCS is good for you then you really need to read. Anyone can find info about HFCS in any nutrition magazine. If you are trying to tone down make sure you avoid HFCS at all costs. The first thing in the ABS Diet from the editor of Mens Health says to avoid HFCS!!

Why would I want a carbohydrate bar when I could just eat a piece of fruit? The question was protein bar and I don't consider 2g to be a protein bar.

I had a Jay Robb protein bar over the weekend while I was traveling. It was really good, and the ingredients were very good. Only knock 14g of protein is a little low.
