Should I take a fat burner
I have been working out since 2006, lately I got my diet and workout in check, and I'm doing fine. My question is, even though I am a big girl, should I take a fat burner?

Gut reaction is no. If you are losing at an acceptable rate right now, I would not. IMO, most fat burners are just energy and appetite suppression pills - I never noticed much else!

Yeah
I think fat burners are okay, but I have to agree with the previous post. If you are dropping pounds at a reasonable rate then don't bother. When I purchased them it was because I knew I would get energy from them. I'm not big on suppressing the appetite however.

It is up to you! all supplements are just that supplements. If you have your diet and training in check and are currently making progress than there is no need. Although sometimes just the placebo affect of a supplement can cause one to workout harder and make more progress. So if you feel like you want to try a fat burner then why not? Remember there are stims and non stims. The stims can sometimes give you the jitters. Do some research on what fat burners and come up with one that you like.

I don't entirely agree because, if you're already losing weight at a healthy rate there's absolutely no need for it.
Don't waste your money honey! Plus, stimulants aren't exactly too healthy for your heart and blood pressure.

I would just like to add that before you look into fat burners you want to make sure your getting enough vitamins. Try supplementing with a good multi (I use Orange Triad Multi which also has joint, digestive aids). CLA is also a good supplement as it aids in fat burning and serves as a good backup in case your diet is not providing enough of it. Believe it or not...sufficient daily vitamin intake in very important for fat loss...and help more than most people think with fat loss. Congrats on your success so far and good luck!
P.S. I am also drinking Yerba Mate tea...which has a host of qualities including expediting fat loss. There's a really interesting thread on the general forum, just key in Yerba Mate in the search engine and it'll bring you there. Great stuff that helped me break a plateau!
