Sudden loss of energy... how do you 'fix' it?
At some points during the day I suddenly go from really energetic to tired and lazy, it lasts for about an hour and then I start getting energy again.
Does anyone know what causes this and if I can prevent it by eating certain things? My sleep is in check (8-9 hours of sleep every night) and I'm on a 5-6k cal diet at the moment, I'm getting all my vitamins and vegetables in every day and I definitely don't have a low carb diet.
Thanks!

I think there was a thread on this...
make sure you are eating enough and sleeping enough, stay active and if you feel a lack of energy, eat some more

Could be if your eating too many carbs or too little. Green tea seems to help me sometimes.

What supps are you taking? Some energy supplements give you a big burst of energy for a while but then you crash for a bit later.

Power Energy
Trust me, Eat 2-3 Pure Orange before gym about 5/10 minutes before. Not Juice because it doesn't contain the gud nutrients as the orange

I suffer from the same thing around mid-day. I get extremely fatigued and sluggish, and lose any motivation to go to the gym. It comes back later on, usually after I get some more food in me.

approximately what time of the day? what do you take during or after that time that may improve the fatigue? has it ever been more than an hour? how many days a week does it happen?

Cocaine.
Nah I'm always really tired in the morning for some reason, no matter how much sleep I get. I usually have a nap during the day too and that helps (Just had one actually).
Then again during the week I don't get 8 hours sleep, close to 7 or 6 and a half with an hour or two nap.

sounds mostly like your not getting quality sleep. have you tried taking magnesium or calcium, or a combo of them both before bed?
