I'll post some photos of my legs and triceps specifically.

P.S. I've flown through Iceland before. I wish I'd had more time to spend in the city.

Ahh i just saw the pics you posted first, and the only one of your back was the rear lat spread, so i assumed your back was lagging. You got decent back so go hit your lats and it will give you more width and stronger look.
Yea tourists got some interesting stuff to see in Iceland!

Im gonna have to agree with that, i NEVER had pumps like i get from a wrist roller, and it really does help develop your forearms.
If you dont wanna lay out the cash to buy one, they are easy to make. Just get a wooden stick, something to the effect of a broomstick, although it only needs to be wide enough for you to hold it about shoulder width apart. Then put a nail through the middle, tie a wrope around it, and get some way to fasten weights on teh bottom of the rope. Then just hold it out, palms down, and using one wrist at a time wrap the rope up.

S0LID, great suggestion! I'll definitely add that as part of my arm workout. I used to do forearm curls, but never saw any great development or progress as a result. I try to avoid using wrist straps or hooks when I do deadlifts... I figure I need to build strength in my forearms by forcing myself to hang on to the weight!
notwerby, awesome! Thanks for the hint about making my own wrist roller. Does this pump up the top of the arms as well as the bottom? Sorry don't know the names of the muscles... the flexors and the extensors???
Cheers,
Russ

Just a reminder to myself that I need to take update photos, and keep this thread alive. Any other comments until I have a chance to hit the weights this week and post updates?

rp29nct, when i did it, the pump was everywhere on my forearms. It felt like all the blood in my body just rushed to my arms. Now yeh its prob an exxageration, but i'v never had a pump like that anywhere else in my body, well, almost anywhere else in my body.

Long time since last post
Thought I'd update you with some more photos.
My training has been inconsistent recently, and I'm working on getting motivated. Still 6'3" tall, but now 175 lbs and getting closer to my goal of 200 lbs. I've got several video clips to post later, too.
In the meantime, let me know what you think of the pics.
Lates, Russ

Vid captures
These are video captures from some recent posing. As an updated, I've gained 18 lbs of muscle over the last year, and have improved in my stats:
163 lbs ---> 181 lbs
41-1/2" chest ---> 42-1/2" chest
14-1/2" arms ---> 15" arms
29" waist ---> 29-3/4" waist
21-1/2" quads ---> 22-1/2" quads
13-1/2" calves ---> 14" calves
Getting closer to my goal, and one step more towards the size that I want to compete at.
Russ

Video Clip
Wanted to post a video clip of some posing I've done. I have several other videos that I'm working on uploading. Thanks to Skip for hosting the files!
Skip, let me know the best way to send you other videos. I have one that I really want to upload, but it's around 6Mb. So, I may have to send it in two pieces.

If you haven't figured it out, yet, here is the link to where my clips are stored. I've sent some new ones to Skip, so it should be updated with more videos soon (hint, hint).

Thanks, again, Skip.
Still waiting for some feedback. I'm almost to the point where I'll be making new progress photos. So, I'll keep you posted.

36 Days Out!
Resurrecting an old thread, I wanted to share some of my latest progress pictures in preparation for contest in April. I'll be doing the BLNPA New England Natural show in Seekonk, MA. This is my first show ever, and I'm really looking forward to it. Ok, correct that, I'm both excited and nervous about it!
My trainer has me on a reduced carb nutrition plan that is encouraging my body to burn off the fat around my midsection. I'm not as muscular as I'd like to be, but that'll come in time after this contest is done. At the moment, I want to show the best physique I've managed to build so far, and at least nail it by being lean and show it off with quality posing.
My Bodyblog also has updates of my daily progress starting at 39 days out when I began the pre-contest diet.
As always, constructive advice would be appreciated.

Changes
I have known you for a fair while now. Having looked over the photos online you have changed a huge amount. You have grown all over and stayed proportioned for you 6ft 3 frame. You are so committed and such a genuinely nice guy I want you to do well in your forthcoming show.
Keep up all this hard work it is really paying off

Yep, looking forward to it! Looks like you'll be in the Heavyweights... I'm competing in the Light-Heavyweights. But, would still be great to introduce myself and meet you. Are you doing the Novice, too? If so, we might actually get to battle it out on stage.

Took me a minute to figure out which pic you were referring to... the animated gif, right? We each have something that motivates and encourages us, and I find mine is rooted in my faith. Thanks for checking out my latest improvements and offering some encouragement!

As the French would say, "le crap!" I just saw your weight status on your bodyspace page, and realized you're in my weight class now! Damn, we will be battling it out. How did you figure out the Novice class, I thought they would determine that on the morning of the competition?
Time for me to run away and do some more cardio, if I'm going to pose off next to you! See you in 11 days, you're looking fantastic!
