hey guys,
meals look awesome
ok so im burnt out on oatmeal - well not really - just feel like its ED to be eating it 3-4x a day (not caus of macros or anything like that...just love making it and making new "recipes" with it)
so i've decided i'll have home-made lentil soup for lunch w/ turkey and whatever else i can find in the house...besides oatmeal
i'm just so obsessed with reese's oatmeal now its stupid lmao, i've had it 5x in the past 2 days...:/

i jus thought that by now you'd be able to eyeball how much things weigh. i've gotten to a point where i can look at a potato and know how many carbs it has...and look at a peice of meat and know the protien content.
should be second nature for most of you by now. no need for scales.

My meals are pretty normal for the most part... I used to be really ocd about my diet, but I've lightened up over the past months. I still weigh almost everything, as you can see by my fitday, I like to be precise and organized. I can't ever weigh some things though...like my PB...I know I'll scare myself =P

Raspberry Stuffed French Toast
my camera is in my car or i would have taken a pic of my wonderful breakfast!
serving for 1:
2 slices eziekal bread-i used rasin bread
about 1/4 c or a little less fat free cottage cheese
cooked raspberries-just to break down the berries into a jam
chopped walnuts
3 egg whites beaten
cinnamon and vanilla extract
spoon the cottage cheese, raspberry "jam", and chopped walnuts onto one piece of bread. top with the other piece. heat a skillet with some PAM, get it hot. carefully dip the bread into the eggs. then with both hands hold it tight to flip it over. then very carefully lift and set into skillet. cook and flip! i topped mine with extra jam and sugar free syrup! and side of egg whites

This looks like the best place to post a recipie...
Just as an interesting twist, for those who enjoy a Mexican Hot chocolate flavor...
Mix
2 parts Chocolate MM(about a scoop & a half)
1 part Cake Batter MM(about half a scoop)
a few sprinkles of chinese 5 spice(cloves, cinnamon, star anise, white pepper & fennel seed) to taste
(for even more zip, drop in a few dashes of cynanne pepper... cautiously)
You get a zesty variation that brings to mind a cup of Mexican Hot chocolate... which is a nice change of pace from a plain chocolate shake. I like to mix up a batch of it ahead of time so the spices can release their magic. (*mmm... maybe I SHOULD warm it up. *snicker...) The addition of Cake Batter even fakes a bit of the marshmallow taste.
(sorry, no pics... really must get camera fixed. )
Just thought I'd share.

Its passover in three weeks which means that I can't eat anything with wheat in it or foods that expand so by-by oats/rice/pasta/pulses/peas and hello matza.
Basically it's going to be potatoes all the way 5kg for $5 sounds like a good deal to me. Need to buy some sweet potatoe as well. Thank god peanut butter is legal.
