Don't worry about them. Constructive criticism is fine, but many take it too far. You're a big, solid guy with a lot of years of natural growth and growth from training ahead of you.

God damn people he's 16! Let him be! He plays football.. he's not getting ready for a god damn bodybuilding competition! He doesn't have to be 3% bodyfat.
Point is, everyone is at different points in their bodybuilding endeavors. Give the kid props for getting this far at such a young age, give constructive advice ("you're fat" does NOT count), and then be on your way.

Ya, id bet my life savings that kid isnt 23% let alone 25%...
I think you are right about calipers and how people just cant tell when the fat gets up there but there is more at play here.
A lot of folks on BB.com just cant face the fact there are large guys out there with tonnes more lean mass than them...by inflating the bodyfat %s they can pretend like this kid isnt close to 200lbs lean at 16 something a lot of them have been struggling to do for years or had to use anabolics to get to...
I remember once someone posted a pic of a guy who was like 6"1 270lbs and it was obvious he was around 20% bodyfat, and people were just trashing the guy....saying he was 30%, had man boobs, he was fat,,,couldnt get laid etc. etc. same kid was posted like 3-4 months later at 243lbs or something and was JACKED with visible abs and people then said he was on roids.
You cant win.
Point is the hate is strong at big people on the site for whatever reason; either they are too fat(you know bc with this kid being a Fball player and living in Chicago Teh cuts should be the priority during the winter) or they get lean and MUST be on roids.
Whatever, its called size....dont be mad.
The kid COULD lose 15-20lbs ....but cmon thats 15 lbs in the wintertime when its below freezing everyday in Chicago, to me thats like normal. Who is he trying to impress in a hoodie and baggy jeans with it snowing outside???
I hope the kid all the best in his training and hopefully he will keep growing so he can get a ride or something through football.

well, it sounds like you are a tad in denial, dont look at yourself and say you are all muscle, you wont get anywhere like that, strive to have the shape of the guys in the magazines (obviously it is impossible to get that big without drugs) but honestly you probly have around 20% bf. drop it down and you will look good, i mean, 240 lbs is huge, thats kevin levrone and arnold huge, if you cut id pit you at about 180 lbs, maybe 175. anywho bro, dont give up, and the mirror can be your best friend if you make honest assesments of yourself.

are you kidding me?? in my pic you can see my shoulder and starting of a tricep and no extra fat on the inside of where my elbow bends
what are you doing in the teen section anyway at 26??
anyway i wasn't calling him fat just saying that he is not 14% and would look like a beast if he got down in that area. i was suggesting that cutting down to 12 then clean bulking to 16ish would make him huge and not far away from the average college/pro lineman in terms of bf which is 14% i believe

You think the average college lineman is 14%??
So you think those 320 lbs OG's could drop 14 lbs and have visible abs>?
Oh, man....this is getting funny.

1) This isnt the teen section.
2) You are about 14-15% yourself...meaning dude has like 4% MAYBE 5% on you....
3) NOWONE in real life would choose your body over his...he has 78lbs on you and tonnes of height...lets get real bro...the avatar pic "culture" has simply gone to far in pretending overall size isnt important.

Solid statement man, and I hope you pull that off, cos that's the beauty of it all, 99% of "bodybuilders" quit early on or after a number of years. So of all the millions that go to a gym or whatnot, how many thousands remain the year after, year after that etc. But if you can man, make yourself something special.
It is true you are only 16, but it's more the stats you post are incorrect, specifically regarding bodyweight, and you came making this thread to ask for opinion, but it seems like you're actually here to brag and hate those who critiscise, altho I admit some people are being a bit too OTT and childish!
Also, not sure about destroying people on the field, fat doesn't make much difference except makes you slower and heavier, someone with solid mass will do far more damage.
Your measurements do not seem correct to any experienced person who trains, and I'm also not sure about jealousy...
As for everything else, as long as you don't mind being fat (something you will have to accept) - at your age you are a good strength, am not going to say size, because I was kinda fat too, but I hated it, at least you're happy with what you got. I trained to get out of that body, and it worked a treat, I just hope you can get a more accurate outlook and more feasible aim, but you can't deny facts, it won't help you man!
If you cut up, you'll probs be happier, get more girls and be bullied less. FACT.

LMAO, bullied less? dude i am seriously the biggest kid in my school, and no e-stats... and what stats do u feel are incorrect? if u dont mind me asking. And if u check out my pictures above, obviosuly i am not FAT. just because im younger than you and have more lean mass under if i were to cut, doesnt mean u should get mad. and to the guy sayin i could cut to 175 or 180... thats extremely wrong.. i could not loose 65 lbs of fat! lmao.

Wow, the criticism in this threads just out of hand imo. Is he 14 %? Obviously not, and he's not disputing this. He agrees he's more in the 18-20 percent range. He seems to be a well built kid for his goals. Pretty much every bigtime highschool FB and most college FB's are going to have a few extra pounds on them. It's important to have enough weight on your side to knock dlineman and linebackers out of the hole.
He's definetly an extremely strong kid for his age, and ive always felt that the mindset is just as important on the football field as physical ability.
You definetly have a good build for a FB dude, probably dont get any heavier, focus on strength and speed/agility and stay your current weight.

MORON, why the hell would he be doing a cut??? He is trying to be big for football. Being cut does nothing for that. All the tiny guys who are trying to make themselves feel better are starting to annoy me...

Hey buddy.
This isn't a competition. No one here is going to lose anything by you continuing to look fat.
Think of it like this: If it looks like fat, photographs like fat, and jiggles like fat, to us, its fat. You can choose not to believe it, but don't deny it to us.
Most of the people on this forum used to be fat, or if not fat, chubby. Hell, i'm still chubby - and we try to help! Listen to the people on this forum, they'll help you more than that cupcake.
