What do you do?! Please Help!
What's up people. I've lost about 45 pounds since November. I've been lifting weights and doing cardio and dieting wisely. I'm at a point now where people are starting to tell me that I look skinny and to not lose anymore weight. I know they are used to seeing me heavier, and my frame was one that didn't really make me look "fat" but just "big." When the clothes came off I knew I was fat and decided to do something about it.
I have a few more places I'd like the fat to be minimized. Generally all over, but particularly the lower back, legs, of course abs and yeah you guessed it, my ass. I want to also start lifting for muscle mass b/c that's what I really love and know I will get gains relatively easier that way since I gain very easily. I don't, however, want to gain more fat, especially in those areas. I'm going for shape over mass, you know, what all us dudes basically want to look like.
Do you think if I start lifting heavier and increase protein intake that I will be able to increase muscle size and not increase bodyfat? I know if I gain bodyfat I will lose motivation for muscle building. I also don't want to keep cutting and start looking weird and lose muscle mass.
As you can see, I'm considering many options. Right now I'm just cutting.... I'm 6'1" 210 lbs. Check my progress pics for the most recent pics. I think people are just used to seeing me a certain way and now the image has changed and it seems overlydrastic to them. I dunno.... Help! Thanx.
