Breast Size
Ladies,
I have not encounter this yet, because I have only lost about 15 pounds of so far. I probably have not lost much body fat because of my bust size is still DD. However I was wondering is there a way to keep a reasonable amount of fat on your body, so that you do not lose breast, or the minute you start cutting to get the washboard abs are you going to lost your breast too.
Thanks any suggestions are appreciated.

There really isn't much you can do to control where you lose weight from. Work to tone your abdomen using exercises like crunches. Working your pectoral muscles can help your breasts appear a little bigger, but there isn't an exercise that will make them bigger or make them stay the same size as you slim down.
I now a lot of women who have reached their goal weights and then got implants, I don't know if this is something you would consider.
I guess it depends how much breast size matters to you.
Hope that helps...

Thank Fit N Flirty.
I guess its in the genes because when my mom lost weight her breast size did not really go down. I hope the same thing happens to me because I love my breast and do not really want anything smaller than a C and can not see myself with implants.
This idea of losing my bust scares me, but I think I will just train and lose until I get down to a reasonable size and adjust my intake and program based on my overall weight, muscle mass/ fat content, and bust size. Mainly because this is pretty important to me.

I lost about 45lb, and while my bra size did go down, I'm still a 36DD, which is plenty. With any sort of luck, you should eventually find that your bust and hip size balance each other.

Also, once you loose the weight that you want, your breasts will have a nicer shape.. (not that they don't already) but the muscle will just get stronger as you get more in shape and to your goal weight!!
Good Luck w/ the girls!!

Thanks, Eileen because while I do have a naturally curvy shape. I am have more of a pear than an apple shape. I totally want that hourglass affect, that slimming down and toning will make more apparent. Hopefully I go no lower than an D, because while I am a DD now I am a tight DD, but yes it would be wonderful to go from 38 to 36, and have a waist at 28.
Oh and you are so lucky your girls did not go away. I would cry if that happened, seriously.

I still think my hips are huge, and there's no way I'm going bra-less, but my family all assure me that I've got a tiny waist and a classic hourglass shape.

I lost about 20 lbs last summer and that was with cutting out almost all fat from my diet and my boobs almost disappeared (went from 38D to 32B). I fell off the wagon and gained back ten lbs and my breasts went back up to a 36D...I'm now trying to lose weight again, and have, but am leaving more fat in my diet along with heavier chest exercises and they're turning out much better than last time. I don't know if the fish oil supplement would affect it, but they seem more full than last time...

I'm with you ladies. I used to boast that I had the biggest boobs out of my sisters. But now that I'm losing weight, I'm quickly becoming the smallest. I went to Victoria's Secret and got re-measured. I went from a C down to a B cup. So depressing.

Hey, this is why chicken fillets were invented. It's a lot easier to fake big boobs than small ones.

No Kidding Zombie
My mom lost wieght and had to reduce her DD's to a full C. I do not want to go any lower than a C.
bttrthnb4, I heard that the way the fish oil works is to reduce the amount of fat on the belly so that you lost belly fat or brown fat instead of the fat in other places, like flax seed oil, etc. I dont know about this but for my girls sake I that this works. I havent really put emphasis on my chest exercise often doing inclined presses and push ups, but I will because we have larger breast and need that lift in the neck line.

i actually think, unless a woman is very tall, a 'b' cup looks better (and more proportional) than a 'c' or bigger.....
just my preference i guess
best,

If I got to choose an A cup over a 40D (before they got that way), knowing what I know now I would be an A cup. I don't care how good they might look, my bff is right...hers are going to look alot better when we're 50 than mine are.

my best friend is a workout freak. she was a decent B cup..and she did alot of arm workouts..her breast fat turned into muscle..so she decided to get implants to make them fuller again.
