Well, I think I've overcome the side effects finally. I take 2 scoops before a workout but I still don't get those desireable effects people are talking about, like better pump or increased energy during workouts. Frustrated... I'll probably stick with NO explode for another week or so before giving it up if it doesn't do anything.

Another thing that dissapoints me is the fact that you have to wait 2 hours after eating before taking NO Explode and then wait another 30-45 mins before exercising - not very good timing if you work out early in the morning. Is it the same with other NO supps?

My only side effects were about an hour after taking it. (which is during workouts)

Pretty much everyday for 2months I would have to stop and take quick a #2 break in the bathroom. Nothing else, like at night or during the day, only a little after taking it. No huge deal.

Garbage and Nano Vapor get me going best for mental focus (and tastes great) and Cellucor's M5 gets me going the most for muscle pumps.

I hope the folks at BSN can make a similar product without the huge amounts of amphetami......errr......caffeine in their NO-Xplode. I think it's a decent pre-workout supplement, but the caffeine is just too much for most people to handle unless you're a regular coffee drinker or meth addict. I suppose everyone reacts differently, but I had never consumed much caffeine so when I started taking this (one scoop only) I experienced several side effects - most notably:

1) heart palpitations
2) horrible insomnia (taken 1 scoop at approx 1pm, in bed by 9:30pm)
3) high blood pressure

I had to stop after only about a week and a half on NO-Xplode because of the high caffeine content. Many other companies are producing high quality caffeine-free pre-worlout supps (White Flood, Horse Power, Xpand, etc.) so I'm not sure why BSN is giving up that market share so easily.

Regardless...I don't use the stuff any longer. As an earlier post mentioned, to get my "boost" I buy ZipFizz in bulk at Costo and use a half of one of their tiny bottles about 30 minutes prior to working out. That's ample caffeine for most any workout.

i agree, a bit toooo much caffeine in the product. no-explode ain't a bad product, but maybe you want to try something else like wf or armageddon.

Not really. It says you need to start off with a tolerance test. 1 scoop is recommended on non-training days and as for training days it's 1-3 scoops. It's on the package.

Anyway, I don't get the side effects anymore (taking 2 scoops pre-workout), at least for now and I think it's starting to help with my workouts but I'm gonna give it a longer run before saying that for sure. Thanks for your feedback guys.

White Flood says it contains Natural Caffeine in the ingredients list. Not sure how much exactly.....but it says it's there. Xpand doesn't though, except Energized Xpand.

Thumbs down BSN NO Explode

Well, after not seeing much of the positive effects I finally chucked the supp in the bin (there goes 35 quid I'll never see again). The worst thing about it is the taste, it was extremely difficult to drink 2 scoops mixed with water and not to throw up. Even when the side effects subsided I still got that sick uncomfortable feeling in my stomach each time after drinking it, which would distract me from my workout and ruin my concentration when lifting.

So in my opinion BSN NO Explode is complete bs. At least it was for me.

For now I'm going to stick with black Rocket Fuel coffee and maybe one day (when I have some money to spare) I'll try another NO supp, but I'm not touching another BSN product.

Well sorry you had such a bad experience with the Explode. For me it's still working wonders. Well try something else then, it's not to say something works for one it will work for all. Good luck in your search

possible tooth decay?

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems with their teeth while taking no explode for an extended period of time. I have never had any cavities in 22 years, but after using no explode for about 8 months i have had 3 and the dentist told me that the enamel on my teeth is wearing down. I am not sure if this is the no explode or some other factor. I cannot find any reports about this online but was wondering if anyone else has had similar instances. Let me know...

No Xplode gives me the best boost ever. I did have some stomach problems with it I guess it might be the creatine in it. Try taking it after eating some carbs. I have been using it for 2 years now and after trying white flood, superpump, nano x9, fyre, redline and a bunch of other ones NoXplode worked best for me.

Wow that is seriously unfortunate. I noticed a MAJOR difference in my workouts. I would recommend trying a little less than one scoop and you won't feel anything until you start working out. And I experienced lol ... "looser than usual" bowels before working out but nothing major. Just wait 30-40 min before working out. Seriously its amazing. I can go longer lift more and my muscles don't feel as fatigued afterwards.

Long term side effects of N.O. xplode

I was wondering if anyone has had longterm side effects from this product. For me its been amazing thus far, but I wonder what longterm research has been done.

no-xplode caused massive breakouts on my face and back for me. and the crash about an hour after my workouts suckd bigtime.

i have taken n.o explode for about 2 months and have gained 14 pounds of lean muscle.i stacked it with nitrix,followed all procedures and felt bigger,faster,and stronger.my bench,hang and leg press maxes went up considerably.my squat freakishly went from 435 to 465 in that period of time. The only bad thing about this product is the sleeplessness you get.especially if your already an insomniac.also u get bad backne.But this product is really gettin me ready for the upcoming football season.you must have a supplement problem and if your 200 pounds or more it says to increase the scoops to 3 or 4
