Saunas and steam rooms have been mentioned here 2-3 times in the past month or so but I don't ever recall seeing them mentioned prior to that. I'm guessing there must have been an article in Muscle &
Fiction about them or something. I read a post somewhere about an alleged increase in protein synthesis as a result of using them. Whatever, I didn't even bother researching it. Using one is
not going to be the reason someone develops 18" arms vs. 14" arms, or squats 500 lbs vs. 300 lbs.
In my opinion most people who use saunas don't even know why they're using them, they're just something that's "supposed to be good for you" so they use them. Pre-workout? No way.
