Wow You are doing great. But it will be worth it. I worked out until the day before I gave birth to my youngest daughter who is now 13..lol..and I was back in the gym in no time after. I think a couple of weeks later. My labor was only 2.5 hours. No meds. I think working out helped and it makes you feel better while your pregnant. Just keep doing what you're doing and in no time after you will be back on track. Don't let anyone tell ya having children ruins you're body. Because if you work hard enough and eat right you will get you're body back. Hell I look better now than before I had kids and I'm turning 40 in April.

How are you doing preggo? I haven't checked in on you in awhile.
Wanted to let yo uknow too that I just found out myself that I am 6 weeks pregnant. Not planned at all, but we are excited and nervous anyway.
So now it loosk like I'll be figuring out how to not gain too much weight during this time!

Awww thanks for stopping by my journal and congrats on your pregnancy!!!
Wow, I don't believe that your are journaling while preg. That's dedication!
I decided that my body would do what it wanted and I'd just have to work once all was said and done. So I ate what I wanted but stopped when I was full. The 1 and only time I over ate I was in soooooooo much pain it was not worth it. Unfortunately I am only 4ft. 8 inch tall (if that) and the bigger my son got the less I could eat so I didn't gain much. The Dr. were not happy with my 19lbs gain... but as hard as I tried I couldn't gain more cause there was no room.
Anyway only advice that I have is to listen to your body. Especially after you give birth, if something hurts don't push it. If you feel you can do more than what the Dr's say then go for it.
Also, I think breastfeeding helped me a lot. Even though I'm back to my pre preg weight it looks VERY different - lol. I'll have to post before preg and after preg photos.
Oh yeah other suggestion (of course get your Dr's ok if you will be breastfeeding) Take 500 mg of vitamin b-1 and extra vit C to help with the postpartum baby blues. It's very natural to feel down and emotional after birth... but the vitamins help keep it at bay. mine only lasted 3 weeks.
You've gotta take belly pix!!! I totally miss my baby bump.
take care and agian, thanks for stopping by my journal :-)

Wednesday:
I want to try to get to the gym today for some cardio...we'll see.
meals:
m1: oats, whey, skim, 1/2 banana, coffee
m2: chicken, apple, almonds
m3: cottage cheese, yogurt
m4: breakfast for dinner french toast on wh grn, sf syrup, eggs
m5: ? hot chocolate w/ skim
I'm really not happy at work lately...It's not the kids because they are great...it's the adults! I feel like there is a lot of back stabbing going on lately and I feel I need to 'watch my back' all the time. I don't feel comfortable nor do I trust anyone right now.
Anyway, lots of wedding excitment!
-got a photographer and videographer
-booked the place and DJ
-got my dress, picked out bridesmaids dresses, Rob picked out tuxes
To do:
- find someone to do my hair (which by the way is very pricey!!!)
Anyone out there familiar w/ these pregnancy symptoms? should I be concerned or talk to doc about it?
-hurts to walk. feels like i tore muscles in my lower belly...ouch! even moving/turning in bed at night has me yelling in pain
-my belly is almost always 'hardening'
-sometimes when lying down and my belly goes really hard, my pulse races really high and feels like its going to come out of my neck!!!

Suggestions for looking hot while pregnant to me would be BellyBand! I loved my belly band when I was preggo. Congrats by the way...looks like your still working out and eatting clean. I'm sure you will bounce right back after the baby comes with all your efforts.
Oh and a tip for not looking hot when pregnant is all the fatty fat! haha...I gained 45 pounds and was SO impeccably embarrassed.

What is oats & whey?
Is that like a cereal or something?
And how many calories do all these meals contain?

You're doing great! As for the belly pain, I think it sounds normal, but it's always best to talk with your doctor/mid-wife. Just do what you can, you'll be so thankful for all the work you've done.
Just an update, we found out we're expecting as well. I'm about 6 wks preg now, so I'll be in the same boat in a few months!

hi there congrats on your pregnancy,
i would say most of all relax and take it as it comes don't endulge and as everyone else suggested eat clean, you'll be able to deal with it again after the baby arrives.
Enjoy the time you have at the moment and don't push yourself there's plenty of time for that.
Goodluuck and all the best for you and your baby!!

Thanks! Everytime I indulge in treats I feel kind of bad but I have to try and remember that it's ok and like you said...after the baby, reality starts again and the hard workouts and strict diets are in affect!

-Had my baby shower this weekend!!! yay! We got sooooo much stuff...it was great. Needless to say, we were super busy setting everything up and organizing! I'm exhausted.
