I am curious to see how many of us are around in six months. Hopefully, we lost the dead weight and can move forward as a team and get this done.

BTW, I played basketball last night for about 30 minutes and I can feel all my hardwork paying off. Specifically, my balance and lateral movement is 10x better than it was when I started. I was contesting shots on defense and staying in front of my guy very well. All I kept hearing was, "Dang, you move great for a big guy." I can't wait until I get down to 200. I can taste it!

Oh wow. I lost track of time, is it too late to post progress pics and weight? I hope I'm still in the comp.

edit - I'm 197lbs. Thats down 5lbs this month. Pretty good I guess seeing I had to miss a week in the gym and a few other problems. I'll try and get pics up. Please allow me to stay nit he competition!

It's great to see everyone making progress, I'm happy for you all. just one thing, keep at it innit

By the way, I just come back from the gym and i took a picture and compared it to what I looked like back at start of year and at end of jan.

If anybody can tell me if they REALLY see any differences (bare in mind its after a SHOULDER workout but still, a body is a body innit?) that would be great. Thanks.

Super: Dude that is some good progress being done man. I definitely see more muscle definition (not just in the shoulders) and see some abs starting to come through.


On a side note, has anyone else read the "official" threads lately? Sounds like the sponsor for the contest has gone MIA. Seems like some people are having doubts about continuing with the contest. Let's help each other out to stick in this thing.

didn't know the sponser is MIA, i know there have been a few people who have not continued, but i think the main ones like you and me and many others will stick at it even if its just us left in the contest.

Mad Sano appears to have went "mad" and left the contest high and dry. Hopefully nothing serious happened to him. Other people are stepping up to the plate to takeover the contest management, so it should be fine. We have a good bunch of dedicated people, not just on our team but on the site. We'll persevere through this.

what up guys? Hope everyone is doing well.

I just got done lifting and doing cardio.

I did back,bis,legs and some core.

30 Min of Low Intensity - 470 cals.

Tomorrow im doing 2 works. 1 AM 1 PM. Gotta get back into the 2 a days.

Ate about 1800 calories. Feeling good!

1800 Calories seems kinda low for you weight. Please correct me if I am wrong. Either way man, good dedication and keep it up!!!!

I thought 1800 was a little low too. But I sit at a desk job all day long. and have ****ty genes as far as I can tell.

I have not been tired. My workouts are going well and I really haven't seen any decline is muscle or strength.

If I notice any of those I will certainly increase my intake.

dont worry cfree i hover from 1300-1800 and feel fine my workouts are intense too i think it's these desk jobs that make this sufficient.

Got in a good arm workout this morning. I've eaten clean all day today. We even had cake and ice cream at work today. I resisted the temptation and ate an avocado instead.

Chest,Tris,Shoulders

30 Min Low Intensity Cardio - with 3 min cool down. 500 cals burned.

About 1900 calories today. We will see how I weight in tomorrow.

Good work, CFree. I did legs, stretching and shot around a little bit. My protein intake sucked today (like 25% when it is usually 40%) so I need to keep a closer eye on what I am eating. Good luck with the weigh-in.

Thanks man!

Legs are always good! Don't worry about the protein. Just make sure to take in your regular amount tomorrow and your all good! I would be more worried about excess calories then too little protein.

Ok guys so i hadn't made it to the gym since Monday. I really made myself pay for it. Last night was a no weight was too heavy, no reps were too much kind of workout. Seriously, my legs were shaking during, after, and now. Check it out:

Leg Extensions: 12x160, 8x200, DropSet 6x300 5x250
Squats: 15x135, 8x185, 6x225, 6x315, DropSet 4x405 3x315 7x225
Incline Leg Presses: 10x12plates, 6x14plates, 6x16plates, 6x18plates, 6x20plates, DropSet 4x20plates, 7x16plates, 5x12plates, 5x10plates, 5x10plates
Walking Lunges: BW+45lb dumbells = 280lbs: 1x20-25ft, 1x30-35ft, 1x50ft
Seated Calf Raises: 18x45, 12x95, DropSet 10x145 8x95 12x45

I kept my rest time between sets down to about 30 seconds, except during the dropsets which were right after each other. Oh and I did take about 2-3mins in between my lunges, just so I wouldn't completely collapse. I have to place this in the top 5 of my best workouts of my life. Definitely a benchmark setting routine.

Gonna go pound out the chest and shoulders. Hopefully maybe do some incline walking afterwards. Legs are beat up today. We'll have to see how they are after the lifting.

Doing great, I been doing cardio 8-10 times a week. My lifts are increasing and I'm pretty happy with my progress . Even though I see no difference, it makes me feel better just to lift.

Man o man has it been some kind of week. Well glad it is over. I will be hitting the gym in the morning before work. Good luck everyone and seems that we have lost some people. Forgotten you received my weight correct. It was 321 if you did not. Glad to see the regulars in here still bustin in out. What's up everyone? Just got back from a little 2 day vacation to Orlando to go to Animal Kingdom. Ate clean most of the time, except my one cheat meal which I had a Caesar Chicken Salad at Fridays. For dinner tonight, I tried grilled trout with lemon for the 1st time and loved it. Tomorrow is upper. Peace all.
